The college has a very good culture of understanding science deeply & also the presence of medical college and multi speciality hospital makes it a total environment for growth and study. But barely they celebrate any festival in a huge manner

Dislikes

Only the FLAHS block looks bad otherwise all other blocks are amazing and an amazing campus life to be in

Course Curriculum Overview

Biotechnology is one of those course that can never get affected by AI and is one of the most promising and proud career to pursue The frequency of the exams are 1 month gaping In this course they must input 1 more internship opportunity for the students

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 525000 per year

Internships Opportunities

For b.sc (hons) biotechnology students the internship opportunities begin from the last semester of 3rd year and apart from that the faculty sends brochure ans registration link for registering summer internship outside college help

Placement Experience

From semester 6 students becomes eligible for placement. 8 LPA is the highest salary under biotechnology My plans are to go abroad, ,complete my PhD and return home with a promising career in biotechnology field

Fees and Financial Aid

Yearly wise fees = ?1,75,000 for 3 years and 4th year will be research project The above mentioned fees includes everything including labs, admission, maintanance, sports coaching, gym etc. Everyone pays the same fees There are more than 3 scholarships available for the students.

Campus Life

Well, not gonna talk about the annual events and alll. Very bad at ramaiah but Akaira (annual fest of RUAS) is the best fest in bengaluru currently ranked #1. So ya akaira excites us a lot. And ofcourse ramaiah has its own ramaiah premier league (auction based)

Hostel Facilities

Wifi, hot water and light are the basic facilities you get Apart from that people also come to clean your room Meal is okay not gonna say too good but not too bad also Mathikere is the locality where you can have a pg or something

Hostel Fee: INR 60000 per year

Admission

The environment, Culture & decency of this college is far better than any other college in bengaluru as per my understanding. Also the experienced faculty is one of the main reasons behind choosing ramaiah over any other college

Faculty

For every 4 students there is one faculty member. That is the ratio The faculty of life & allied health sciences and the faculty of dental sciences are the best faculties So, we have 3 exams for the core subject- term test 01, term test 02 & semester end examination

About the college life

Likes

Teacher are well indulged , they help you .
Very good area where students get stuff they need.
Provision of canteen and stationery given

Dislikes

Campus is tooo small for a student to even have lunch
Strict and actively don't support in athletics
Sometimes, dealing with admin-related processes like society budget approval or fest dates approval can be slow and confusing.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As I got admission in 2024 so BCU started SEP Batch which is totally new , and we really don't find any book to refer on the basis where we don't get help as much as we need and it's new , bsc has alot to do .

Likes

Research culture, cooperation and a distinct lack of competition
Active student bodies, cultural groups, regional groups
Friendly professors, good understanding of mental health on the professor level

Dislikes

Bad decisions taken by admin regarding mental health, such as removal of ceiling fans and attempts at coverups.
Apparently Caste Based discrimination. Seems to be a lawsuit right now.
Difficulty with time management in early semesters.

Course Curriculum Overview:

There wasn't really any. It was mostly the friendliness of the profs that pulled me into maths. Do note that in IISc, the first three semesters are common and you pick majors after that. The maths curriculum prepares you for a future in either industry or academia. Moreover, one can take courses in other departments to help their industry pursuits. Only way would be to make some courses more interactive, but this hasn't been a problem for me personally. Most high level courses have two exams. Sometimes not even that. And exams generally aren't difficult for someone who has kept up with the course.

Placement Experience:

from 6th semister onwards students are eligible for pkacements. I dont know about the companies of placements as iam a fresher here. The placements here are really good in this course. After Msc forensic science the annual package in an average here is 2-5 lakhs. Almost 80% of forensic students get placement here. As iam pursuing my bachelors here, iam thinking of writing the entrance exam for NFSU gujarath for my Masters.

All you need to know about BASEU

Likes

Infrastructure is really good, the campus is huge and is filled with greenery
The curriculum is extensive and is based on real world applications
The campus is happening with a lot of clubs

Dislikes

The placements are not upto the mark, could be better
The mess food could improve. It is puke worthy.
Although it is a college, there are a lot of restrictions

Placement Experience:

Our university has a training and placement office for the fourth and fifth year students. Before that you need to find internship opportunities yourself. The significant companies include EY, MoSpi, RBI, NSE etc. The is around 50% placements. The highest package was around 40 lakhs and the lowest 5 lakhs. I plan on working in the RBI after my degree.

good supporting lecturers and the principal. they are supportive to almost everything. even the director is a very soft person. lift facility is worst where there is timing to lift. if you miss the timing you have to climb 5 floors by steps. hostel Facility need to be changed with quality. syllabus need to be upgraded
