Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum is too good in amrita university. The curriculum gives you enough confidence for campus placements . The university will be giving you enough time for the examination. There will be two main exams , mid semester and end semester . Mid semester will be conducted 2 months after the semester begins .

Class Size: 65Course Fees: INR 600000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

There are two categories scholarship and non scholarship. In non scholarship the fees is 600000rs (6 lakhs) for computer science and engineering. In scholarship there will be 3 categories according to your rank in AEEE exam . For slab1 you will be paying around 125000 as tution fee , for slab 2 it is 225000, for slab 3 it is 350000. 10000 will be the cash and deposit for scholarship and non scholarship

Campus Life

Anokha is technical fest which is held in the college . It will be celebrated for 3 days. Many students from other colleges would be coming to this fest. During this fest there will be no college for the students and there will be a lot of entertainment including pro shows , car expo etc. We have a central library which provides you all the necessary books Each and every class has a projector and a dedicated charging port to the student. Wide range of sports are available in the campus . And if you are interested you can also join in the university team No student run social groups are there in the college

Admission

I had applied to different colleges like srm , vit. In SRM I got the admission but my parents haven't shown much interest in SRM . Coming to vit while counselling I got admission in ece but I was interested in CSE that is the to not choose vit . My top 3 priorites are vit , amrita and SRM . You can join this college through non scholarship category which will be having high fees . Coming to the merit seats you can join through AEEE score or jee mains score.

Faculty

Maximum of the faculty members are friendly. While coming to the exams it is somewhat tough to clear the exams than compared to other colleges. Some faculty would be nice while giving internals and some are not. Here the mark split up is 65:35.

Sathyabama is value for money

the classrooms in specialization are air conditioned
faculty is supportive for academic growth

the attendance is strict at 75% and subject attendances upto 80%
you cannot exit campus before 3.15 pm under any circumstances

Placement Experience:

The placements are very decent and they provide internships as early career opportunities as well in 3rd year of studies and the college possess high conversion rates through these internships which support the resume with actual corporate exposure

Here there is no gender separation like boys and girls should be seperate and stuff like that.
It is a autonomous college so courses are changing regularly with the shift in education
Here we have relative grading system therefore there is no ranking and easy to get good grades

Dislikes

We have to pay yearly fees not semester wise it difficult for low income earning families
Money is collected from students for all events happening in the college.
There is a rush for collection of fees at the start of each year and unpaid students might face absent issues

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are moderate but i don't know much about other courses but for civil engineering the average placed ctc is 3 lakh per annum one or two students got higer package but most of the students got lower package as a fresher.

From 5 th semester onwards students are eligible for campus placements. Lots of companies. The highest package is 26 lakhs and the average package is 1.5 lakhs. 98% of students get placed. Doing my best in a career as an entrepreneur.

I applied for vit, snu, cuet examination. A decent university

I applied to many colleges like Thapar College, Manipal College, VIT, and LPU and others. I got selected from many colleges, but I chose this college because of its ranking as it ranked 4th best university and 1st in the best private university. This was the only reason for the selection. Now it is also the 7th best university in india and 2nd in private universities. I only got rejected from the Manipal College of Engineering, and they didn't mention the reason for the rejection, but I assume the entrance exam was not so good for me. I rejected other colleges because I find Amrita University better than others. There are many ways to get admission, like from JEE mains or advanced and Amrita's own exam, AEEE.
