The placement cell in the college helps the students to find internships and placements. The highest package offered at Kirori Mal College (KMC) has recently reached around INR 30-35 lakhs per annum, typically for roles in fields like consulting, finance, and data analysis. However, placement packages vary widely across departments, with the average package generally ranging from INR 6-10 lakhs per annum.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees for all categories are equal in a particular course . For my course the fees structure is as follows: 1st year - ?12975 2nd year -?14310 3rd year - ?15000( approx.) Fees varies every year and differs from course to course . Fees in KIRORI MAL COLLEGE is much less than other college where there is almost 9 to 10 k difference in fees because KMC is government college whereas some colleges like Hasraj and Srcc are semi-government college which makes a difference in the fee structure. Kirori Mal College (KMC) offers several scholarships and financial aid opportunities for students to support their education. Some of these are merit based scholarship , government scholarship for category students, endowment scholarship, sports scholarship etc .

Campus Life

5

The campus life in north campus where there are prestigious colleges is just amazing and it is always fun. Students are supportive and encouraging. They keep doing hardwork but at the same time enjoys their campus life with their friends .

Admission

Admission in university of delhi colleges are done in the basis of COMMON UNIVERSITY ENTRANCE EXAM through which rankings and cutoffs are given . Students who meet the required cutoff are given admission in particular college keeping in mind his or her preferences . I too have applied for many north campus colleges and luckily I got admission in one of the prestigious college . I am somewhat happy with the course and college but yeah I would have been more happy if I got admission in SHREE RAM COLLEGE OF COMMERCE.

Placement Experience:

The placement opportunities are mainly for commerce stream departments but the humanities stream also are offered internship from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and Home ministry. There are many private companies that come to offer placements. The students from 3rd year in particular apply for internships. The highest package iffered is 500000 and the average is 250000. About 45% students get placements. My plan after getting the degree is to go for higher studies.

Remarks:

Positive : the faculties are good and I could say our college is the meeting place of various cultures ranging from Kerala to jammukashmir Negative: the infrastructure is poor. Labs and libraries are not so good. And there are stray dogs who often steps into classes and make us afraid. College is not fully air conditioned but is on processing.
