Course Curriculum Overview

4

Well if you want to pursue and have keen interest in biology and chemical aspects of living beings. You can go for this course. Basically biochemistry is chemical and biological reaction goes in the body(generally). Difficulty level of course is 3.5/5. Professors are doing their job with dedication. The thing is you have to do certain things on your own like studies.

4

Internship are given by the University and college as well. Internship provided by the University takes certain processes like shortening according to your CGPA. Then you must appear for interview process after that you're eligible for internship. There are winter as well as summer internships provided.

Placement Experience

3

There is no as such campus placement offered from the college, as many of yhe students go for Masters and after bachelor employment rate is good. You can get jobs at hospitals, lab centre etc, diagnostic centre etc

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure for the first year is approx 21000 and for the second yrar it is approx 18000 and for the third year its approx 19000, you can go for the fourth year as per New Education Policy, the fee structure of the 4th year is not disclosed by the college autority. There is 2 type of scholarship, one is from the University which provides scholarship for EWS student and one is college own scholarship scheme this again is for EWS and Quota Students. In both the scholarship the maximum amount is the half of your yearly fees.

Campus Life

4

Campus life at my college is vibrant and diverse, thanks to a wide array of clubs, social activities, and top-notch infrastructure. With more than 20 clubs to choose from, there's something for everyone to get involved in and explore their interests. The photography, Indian music, and art clubs stand out as the most popular, drawing students from all backgrounds who are passionate about creativity and expression. Being part of these clubs has not only helped me hone my skills but also given me a chance to connect with like-minded individuals and work collaboratively on various projects and events. Socially, the campus is a place where friendships blossom through shared experiences, whether it’s working together on club activities, participating in events, or simply spending time in the common areas. The diversity on campus allows me to interact with people from different cultures and backgrounds, broadening my perspective and making my college life truly enriching. The infrastructure here also supports an engaging campus life. State-of-the-art classrooms and labs provide a solid foundation for academics, while facilities like the library, tech centers, and recreational areas encourage both learning and relaxation. We have sports grounds, gymnasiums, and vibrant cafeterias, which contribute to a balanced lifestyle and create spaces for social interaction beyond academics. In essence, campus life at my college is a well-rounded experience, where social interactions, club involvement, and comprehensive infrastructure come together to create an environment that’s conducive to growth and creativity, preparing us for future challenges.

Admission

I applied for 2 colleges kn in Delhi University. Deshbandhu is my 2nd preference and I am pretty satisfied with it. My 1st coice was Venky which has Nirf ranking of 13 in 2023. Few of my friends got admission there but got to know that there is no space in lab for 30 or 35 students for that reason I love this college. You can get admission in this college by appearing on the National level Examination called CUET. From that you're eligible for filling the from of Delhi University college. By councelling process you'll get college according to your marks.

Faculty

4

In our Biochemistry department there is fine ratio between faculty to student. In one batch the intake is 35 and there is 6 professors, so the ratio is balanced. Talking about the course structure you have 3 DSC which is discipline specific course each sem then there is 1 GE(general elective) and 1- 1 SEC(skill enhacement course) and VAC (value added course). After 4th sem there no VAC, instead of that one more DSC is added.

Night Life

4

Night life is not that you think in the IITs nad all. Gym is open till 5pm starting from 8am, cafeteria is very good seriving various menus from 8am to 5pm, there's no hostel in our college. You can hangout in CR Park which is almost a km from yhe college.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Life science includes zoology botany and chemistry considering this combo I think the study material is quite okay in terms of topics chemistry connects school teaching with one step ahead learning . Zoology provides new insights on various topics . Botany covers deeper understanding of syllabus . So overall it's good . Hands on lab work meets the demand of the subject . Also the topics taught match with the type of questions asked in exam. Difficulty level i would say it's moderate for botany and zoology but for chemistry is quite tough. Time management is a much needed skill for examination purpose. For course curriculum i would say more focus on current situation should be laid rather than history .

The average package is around 6.5-7 LPA and the highest usually varies from 13-15 LPA L. Usually 50 percent of the students get placed directly from campus and rest usually pursue some other academic programs or even off campus placements.

I think that the course curriculum is good and well managed . The curriculum has all necessary subjects related to our course as well as all other necessary subjects like human values and basic ethics. I find our course curriculum is apt for our course . Thought their is a lag for more practical learning and skills. It will be better if they add more practical learning.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The syllabus of Electronics Hons and Electrical Engineering is same but makes it different is how we perceive it. We study the syllabus with theoretical aspects while the engineers with practical aspects. We have a chance to opt for the 4th year, which only comprises of Research. One of the optionals is Generic Elective and if you take GE from same department for all semesters, you will attain a minor degree. The Faculties and whole curriculum is great but the other optionals require improvement. The other optionals only make the Student Life hectic, that stumbles the Student's focus from Course track.
