the curriculum could benefit from more updated resources, especially in emerging fields like AI and cloud technologies. More interactive learning methods, such as hackathons or industry guest lectures, would help bridge the gap between theory and practice. While the timing of exams is manageable, a shift towards continuous assessment—like coding challenges or quizzes—would reduce stress and better reflect real-world problem-solving. Some exams focus heavily on theory, so incorporating more practical, scenario-based questions would be beneficial.

From 7th semester students become eligible for campus placements. The companies which visit our college are TCS, cognizant, mindfree, Accenture etc. The highest package of our college was 16 lakh per annum and the avg is 3 lakh. Around 90% student who sits for placement got placed.

The semester fees of our college is around 49000 per 6 months so it's around 100000 per year. And at the addmission time the first semester fees was 67000 which includes Addmission fee - 5000 Tuition fee - 45000 Caution Deposit - 10000 ( refundable after 4 years) Student welfare - 500 Library fee - 500 University registration fee - 500 University development fee - 2200 University examination fee - 1200 Book bank - 2500 If you can avail tfw while councelling you're tuition fee will be sponced by government. If you're a permanent resident of west bengal and you in a specified income catagory you can get 60000 scholarship (svmcm scholarship) from gov. every year .

The name of the Cultural fest of our college is UTKARSHA and it's happens around January or February of the year. The range of books and journals are Little less in our college. Every classroom has wifi facilities. Every year we had a sports day in campus.

I didn't applied to other colleges because my WBJEE schore was quite low so I couldn't get other colleges. You've to pass class 12th examination with science and give WBJEE entrace exam and through the councelling process of WBJEE you can get a seat in this college

The faculty student relationship is quite good. Faculties are very supportive and nice to students. The faculty student ratio is 1:15. Every faculty of our college is good. In our Case department I like DBS sir most. There are total 4 internal examination for theory subjects and 2 internal exams for practical subjects. And one end semester final exam for each subject.

There is no gym facilities available in our college. The college starts at 9:45 and goes as our timetable. The hostel is very flexible about timings. The famous handout places are KPS Mall, Hooghly River side, Bandel church.
