Course Curriculum Overview

4

The major reason for me choosing this college and course is that i am a upsc aspirant and i want to serve the nation so this course is considered the best for this and that is why i am doing this course . Talking about exams we get 3 hours for one exam in which there are 4 questions that we have to do the difficulty of the exams is very high but the teachers as i already said are great so if somebody studies sincerely we can score good in exams

Internships Opportunities

3

In our college various companies come each year to provide jobs to the students . Our college even has a placement cell which is highly active and various students are placed each year companies such as wipro , amazon etc. Provide internship and jobs to students

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee of the college differs for each course my course is a three year or six semester course and the fees for the first two semesters is 19800 and before that i had to register myself in for the cuet that charged me 2500 and later in the csas that charged me around 150 so yeah that was the total that i have been charged as fees till now. But being a government affiliated college in ny opinion the fee is still very high

Campus Life

4

The overall campus life is great there are a lot of societies in our college such as picwic which is a society for photography and many more the crowd of the college is great as well . The main thing that i dont like about my campus is its size the campus is comparatively very small in size wbich is highly unliked by me

Admission

I had applied for hindu college as well but i was unable to get admission in it as i was unable to clear its cut off . But i got admission in aryabhatta college so in order to get admission in the college we have to give cuet exam and score good in it i scored 734 out of 800 and the cut off for my course was 694 for general category we also have to register in csas as well

Faculty

4

The faculty to student ratio of our college is 1:60 .The main thing as i already mentioned that i like is the faculty of my college . The teachers are great with a lot of experience and phd's from recognised institutions . One teacher that i like the most is Mr. Anshu Kumar who has a great way of teaching and I'll not say that i dislike some or any teacher but i dont like the teaching methods of one of our teachers Mr. Satish K. Jha . Well but overall the faculty is great eveyone has their own unique waya of teaching that are great as well . Now talking about the exams we have 7 subjects and we have to give exams for all these subjects that is a lot of burden in my opinion .

Night Life

4

The area near the college is highly active the nightlife is great as well as it is safe and fun to roam in the area at night . The college does not have any hostel but the outside environment of the college is great . Famous places include satyaniketan and many outlets such as dominos , macdonalds etc.

Placement Experience:

The placement opportunities are mainly for commerce stream departments but the humanities stream also are offered internship from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and Home ministry. There are many private companies that come to offer placements. The students from 3rd year in particular apply for internships. The highest package iffered is 500000 and the average is 250000. About 45% students get placements. My plan after getting the degree is to go for higher studies.

I wanted to do PhD in Political Science but due to percentage I took up BA program. Teachers used to provide notes but mostly I used to be off. There was nothing wrong with the college. Exam timings were good.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Being brutally honest I don't think that the course contributes a lot to our preparation for the real world but it teaches us very new things which I like. The course might not be very helpful in our real life preparation or the preparation for the real world but at the same time it enhances our knowledge and teachers as about various new things so I am satisfied with my course and whatever the curriculum includes I like it

In term of relevance I'll say that there are many topics which should not be taught as they are way too old and contradicting in modern times. New tumes problems and solutions should be taught in replace focusing on present.

Placement Experience:

Final year students are generally placed with an average package of 7-8 lakhs for management programs. Companies including the big 4 like EY, KPMG, Deloitte and other reputed companies have visited and many offers have been made. Around 60% of the students get placed in management branch. After getting the degree, I am also planning to appear in the placement opportunities.

As a future law student philosophy was one of the options which was good to opt. Secondly, comparatively less people opt it and it can be one of the better choices if you are preparing for upsc and taking it as an optional. Teaching can be made more interactive as the topics are really interesting
