- The 75% attendance issue is sometimes hectic but still solvable
- they held 2 in-sem examinations and 1 end sem for a semester, so sometimes it is quite tough to cooperate with that
Course Curriculum Overview
Have been looking for btech private college in my near by, so found this university which is not on prime location but no so far from basic amenities,also the academic calendar they provide is always student friends. the frequency of exams is fast, that sometimes it feels like we have been giving exams for months but that's not so difficult so it nullify other things. There is need of more practical knowledge for my course
Internships Opportunities
companies like TCS, accenture and many more come to college and hire students they offer multiple roles including sales, management, and more. colleges faculties provide various projects and at the end it all depends on you
Placement Experience
the college placements are moderate, for btech, in between 3rd year internship starts also there are mang companies which do visit campus and hire students. the highest pakage went upto 44lpa and average is of 12lpa which is quite good number for a private university
Fees and Financial Aid
hey, so My college fee structure for btech (2023-2027) was 2,20,000 rs per year (which includes both the semester) for any specialisation in Btech, if you want core branch which is also known as non- specialisation then fees for the year is 1,95,000 rs per year (which includes both the semester). Now let's talk about scholarships, you get scholarships according to your boards percentage, if you boards percentage is 85% and above then you will get scholarship of 20%, for 75%-85% the scholarships is pf 15% but that implements on all the even semester. admission fees lf 10,000 rs is taken only at the time of admission.
Campus Life
the major fest is held in february which is knows as JU RHYTHM, which is a 3 days event with all the games including technical, physical,mind games, dance, music and wht not, for 3 days every night is dj night and one of the day is concert day. apart from that many more events take place which may be are makerspace carnival, random fares, celebrity visits and what not. there are number of clubs too for dance,music, coding.
Admission
I applied for many colleges and got admission in thapar university but the branch I got was civil which wasn't of my taste, so i decided to go to this college. What makes this college different from others is it's fest and events which are enough to be happy in college surroundings, there is no such bully in classrooms and campus, and the surroundings is healthy
Faculty
the faculty to student ration is perfect, not all but mostly teachers/ faculty is understandable, they provide their contact numbers too for any difficulty also they are chill when it comes to fun and also motivated to make us study. In a semester, there are 4 exams namely- 1st insem, 2nd insem, 3rd insem and end sem. each student have to give any 2 insem and end sem. each insem is of 40 marks and endsem is of 100 marks from which 30% of insems is calculated in end result, 50% of end sem and 20 marks of assignment. there are also practical exams for subjects required the level of examination is moderate
Night Life
there are 3 cafes namely Nothing before coffee, Jumbs and Brunch house in campus also there is seperate one more cafeteria which has a stationary shop, 4 food shops and 1 clothing shop and also dispensary in any emergency. there is decent hostel timings for girls it is 9:00 pm and for boys it is 10:00 pm, sometimes late night there is jamming session in college
