Course Curriculum Overview

4

The courses are offered via FFCS in which we choose our subject and teacher, the courses are very well pplanned with giving both theoritical and practical knowledge. Though there is a lot focus on quiz and assignment then any other thing, which can be tough.

Fees and Financial Aid

expensive, depnds upon your marks in VITEEE exam , higher ranker more money. I pay 2.5 l per semester including hostel and tuition as , i have bachmates paying more than this or less than this depending upon their rank and choice of hostel and mess.

Campus Life

4

There are a lot of clubs with all intrests, they organinze evets throughout the year along with in 2 fest , namely RIVIEAR and GRAVITAS , one focusing on cultural events and other on technical events. The library is vast with increasing amount of books everyday. As great amount of students are here in VIT, it can feel very social and alone at the same time, college here teaches you a lot of things socially that cannot be learned othervise. Luckily my experience was mixed , I saw bouth the alone part and very social part in college.

Admission

VIT provides an opprtunity for students that didnt perform well in JEE, it gives us practical knowledge needed for coompeting for high paying jobs and getting good colleges for higher studies. All here comes to competition, if I perform well then I can secure high paying job in biggest MNCs like Google, Microsoft, etc.. also have collaboration with international colleges for mixed studies.

Faculty

4

There are Three exams for an semester, CAT 1 which is as any normal pen and paper. Then comes CAT 2 which is an open book test, this test more of understanding and knowledge that how much a student can remember. Then semester Finals named FAT, which is tough and long.

Night Life

2

There are paid and free gyms available for both boys and girls in their respective hostels, all students need to come inside campus by 7 and inside hostel by 9 for boys and 8:30 for girls. Girls also have time limit for outing of 2 hours on weekdays and 4 on weekends.

Placement Experience:

One thing I really need to appreciate at CIT is its placement training program. The placement team conducts regular sessions on 1. aptitude 2. coding 3. communication skills 4. group discussions and 5. interview preparation which helped me feel more confident during placements. The trainers were friendly and always encouraged us to improve our skills step by step. They provide continuous guidance and feedback throughout the training process. Mock interviews and one to one assessments helped me to understand my strength and weak areas and I work on improvements . These sessions not only improved my technical and communication skills but also boosted my confidence . The placement training team played an important role in preparing me for career opportunities and industry expectation
