Course Curriculum Overview

Ma economics has a very wide scope . Many government jobs such as RBI and other requires your pg in economics, if you are going to opt for jrf or net or research this would be a very good choice for you

Internships Opportunities

Internship opportunities are available at very good rate specially in economics, geography, and bvoc departments. Many companies including de marticus visit here for hiring students un their final year and then it's upto you that how much you are able to attract you interviewers.

Fees and Financial Aid

It's a nice college, the faculty of economics department is very good and the teachers are very supportive, seminars are arranged, workshops on research are also going on here , of you are planning for MA ECONOMICS you can sure opt for NPGC.

Campus Life

Social life here is not so good at all. There are no parties, freshers or night shows as you may be expecting in your college life. The college has its credibility in following its rules and regulations strictly.

Admission

Here regularl clases are taken andost important also the exams are conducted timely without any delay. The admission in pg here requires minimum 60% in graduation and after that merit based admissions are taken.

Faculty

Faculty of economics department is very polite and supportive in every aspect. There is 10:1 ratio of students to teachers. NEP is availing here in all courses, exam pattern is such that there are 20 marks internal based on unit test , assignment and attendance. Written exam is of 80 marks with mcq's of 20 marks and 4 long questions of 15 marks each with choice. The toughness level of exams is of average level , you should be good at mathematics for subjects such as statistics and econometrics.

Night Life

As I mentioned above there are no parties and all in the college campus also you will not get any so enjoying place inside the college. However near the college you can Sahara Mall, Imambara, chattar manjil, Ganj, Hanuman Setu, Gomti river front and many more. Hostel is not very good..you are not getting any AC rooms in boys hostel and not even wifi in this digital era. So didn't recommending you a hostel

Placement Experience:

The placement here at Sharda was too good. Students start attending the Placement interviews and calls from the last semester. I was personally made into 4 companies and 4 offer letters were offered to me. The average package is 3.8 lakhs per annum and highest was about 11 lakhs. There is 100% placement in every dept. but it depends on students if they want to attend or not. After getting the degree i studied for my PhD entrace and now i am working.

Excellent Place for higher education

Remarks:

My college provide best education and hostel facility in india.Security is very good. Managment is very good.Transport facility inside the campus in now very good. Placements : The institute actually has very good placement records due to its outstanding alumni and also due to the presence of placement and training cell working day and night to indulge its students with skills and leadership. So, the placements in our college have never been a problem. Infrastructure : With almost hundred years on the calendar, our campus is luxurious from inside and filled with modern day necessities from inside. We have every resource that a student wants in his college life such as largely spaced room, Wi-Fi everywhere around the campus and many more things. So, the campus is unmatched. Faculty : The faculty members are nice, and I found them very helping and motivating. On the other hand, the course curriculum is a bit boring but essential too. A load of academics is very less compared to other IITs and hence students can do anything they want and could carry on their interest. I feel very proud to be a part of IIT BHU. Other : There are three main fests in our college, Kashiyatra, Technex and Spardha. All the fests are held at very high level. Participation from many IITs, NITs and other different colleges from many parts of India make our fests super big and exciting.

Life at Npgc
