Remarks
Station is too far from the college but the best part is u can have auto and taxis available throughout the days , in day time shuttle buses and autos are available which will drop u convinently everywhere u need to go , bus stop is not too far as well
Course Curriculum Overview
All core branches likely civil , electrical , mechanical have a lots of good faculties ,good lab work and some sort of research work too , exams are likely the same as go in rest engineering colleges with 2 mid semester and their after end semester
Placement Experience
Placements are not so good in core branches and their are lesser companies visiting the college and even students from core are not so interested too , CS , IT , ECE etc had a lot of scope. Their is less scope for internship and if one have good relations with faculties of department they can hopefully refer with their contacts outside
College Events
Annual college festival which is ANUKRATI happens every year where rest of the college of RAJASTHAN take part , a technical fest also take place THAR which includes technical events along with some cultural activities too , students have a good platform to show their skills and compete with the rest
Fee Structure And Facilities
Like the rest government engineering colleges , fees structure is moderate ,some branches have GAS ( government aided seats ) where students are excrmpted from tution fees and roughly the fees is around half , but GAS seats are available in few branches only
Fees and Financial Aid
Loans are basically provided through banks only but as ur are in government college which had a good reputation too , so no bank can't deny u for loans and schloarships are also provide through government agencies like NSF( NORTH SOUTH FOUNDATION) some other are also offered like DCM scholarship every year for each branch topper
Campus Life
Labs are all good equipped with all necessary equipment , sports are also good inter college , inter branches tournament take place throughout the year , badminton court are very good , football , cricket , athletic ground are also available
Hostel Facilities
Hostels are pretty good , no one can except more than this from government hostels and the fee structure is also good along with the facilities provided , good mees food at reasonable rates , bathrooms are equipped with geasers , girl hostels are provided with washing machine too , security guards are available throughout the days , common room contains a large size tv , and hostels have good connectivity of wifi too
Alumni/Alumna
Seniors are very helpful , they will help u from the beginning , some even help with providing syllabus books too, alumni network is also good , they are available throughout the country as well as outside , alumni meetings are take place regularly
Admission
Earlier admission are through RPET(RAJASTHAN PRE ENGINEERING TEST) but as now all the states exams are not going and instead of this admissions are conducted through JEE MAINS RANK , under this state colleges make a fix proportion of seats for home state students and rest of other state students
Faculty
Falcuties are all good seniors are the best and mostly reknown have high recognition at national level too most of them are upto the level of PhD in their specialised branches , some are upto MTECH level only but they have their PhD ongoing too
