Course Curriculum Overview

2

The curriculum is not up to date as per real life techniques and it is completely based on what has been taught since 20 years or more. Curriculum is far from teaching students about the application of the subject in the real life. As far as computer science is concerned, it is more theoretical than practical applications.

Placement Experience

2

The placements in the college in average and not up to the mark due to its location, past records, teaching curriculum etc. Average package - 7 LPA Highest placement (2023) - 11.5 LPA by Hindustan Unilever Highest placement (2022) - 22 LPA Percentage of students getting placed - 60%+ My plans after getting degree - will prepare for civil services examinations

Fees and Financial Aid

Fee per semester - 37000 Fee per semester only for first semester - 55000 Fee for students who got TFW (tution fee waiver) - 10800 Tution fee per semester - 25200 Maintenance and lab fee - 10800 Scholarship you can apply - NSP, TFW

Campus Life

3

Overall experience in the college - 5/10 Annual cultural program - Madhuram Annual technical fest - techFest Clubs in the college for photography - Sviesa, for technical - Mavericks, social - NSS sports infrastructure - average (i am personally not involved in sports)

Hostel Facilities

3

We have 3 seater room with each student is allotted with their personal almirah, bed, chair and a common balcony in each room. Each hostel has a mess which is run by contractors, fee of the mess is 3000 per month. Meal is provided 3 times per day - breakfast (bread, butter, jam, tea, milk, egg, paratha) , lunch and dinner

Admission

The only reason i chose this college is because i was getting computer science in the college and not in any other colleges, and my rank was 55000 in jee mains due to which it was the only option for me. I was getting Civil in NIT Andhrapradesh, and this branch is not my cup of tea. Admission process in the college: fill this college in josaa counselling, report in the college after it is allotted, submit documents.

Faculty

3

Faculty to student ratio - 1:60 Faculty to student relationship - average Faculty i liked - Amandeep Kaur (due to her way of teaching and i depth learning) Faculty i dislike - Dr JR Sharma (due to his rigidness of thought) There are 3 exams per semester namely minor 1,minor 2 and major. Also there are two quizes. Exams are easy to score.

Night Life

1

The nightlife in this college according to a girl's perspective is a nightmare, hostel timing is 6 pm in winter's and 7 pm in summers. Also we don't have any cafeterias inside the campus and it is unsafe for us to roam around in the night. We have gym inside the college but it has no proper equipments.

Other Applied Colleges

Delhi Technological University - [DTU] | Bachelor of Technology [B.Tech] (Computer Engineering)

I didn't meet the eligibility criteria

Placement Experience:

Placements are not that good. Although companies come, there is a lack of mass recruiters or reputed organizations. One has to grind hard here for placements. If you're a CS student, you will have to face immense competition here. As for core branches, placements are severely dry. Students gets eligible in 4th year onwards for placements. Some of recruiters here are Trident, TCS, Reliance, Sonalika and other few. Every company offers around 10-15 selected students for a job. Highest package ever was 15LPA and average is 3.2LPA. Percentage placed is only around 15% here. My plans after the degree are to apply for govt exams.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The interest in coding influenced me to choose this subject and course. The curriculum gets me ready for a 9-5 job which kind of gets hectic. The teachers could maybe schedule classes to give the students time to study what they want to and if they wish to do a course outside the university they have the time to do so rather than just going by the university curriculum
