Likes

The campus is very beautiful and vast, so many places to explore
The lab facility and sports facility are good
The campus is very neat and the Atmosphere is calm

Dislikes

The climate varies and some times it's very hot
The food, I was having issues in adjusting to the food but now am okay
The food timing, it was very different from what I have followed all these years

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum is very vast and we need to learn more about the topics. The curriculum is good for real world applications and by practicing more questions we could solve hard problems, the frequency and timing of the examinations are okay as of now

Fees and Financial Aid

I got the 3rd slab in fees structure and I have to pay 350000, we got scholarship benefits and it is considered based on our rank in AEEE , and some of my friends got reservation benefits in fees payment

Campus Life

Many cultural festivals are conducted here, like onam etc and we got a big library and we can access it any time plus we could check the availability of a particular book through our intranet. The sports events are regular here, there are many student run clubs in our college

Admission

I chose this college because of the placements it provide and some of my relatives are still studying there, overall the rank of the University is very good in All India level, I didn't apply to other colleges so I didn't get rejected from anywhere the admission process follows am entrance exam conducted in 2 parts and the higher score is taken and if our rank is good we'll get admission in a good feeling slab

Faculty

The faculties are very kind and approachable, they teaches us well, I like all the faculties except the librarians, one of the librarian was very rude towards me and my classmates and when we asked the reason for that he denied in providing a valid reason. There are mainly 2 examinations (Midterm and End semester exam)

Night Life

The night life is simple iny opinion and the hostel timings are very strict, there are many spots to roam around in our campus after classes, the campus timings are from 9am to 4:30pm. With 3 breaks included

the classrooms in specialization are air conditioned

you cannot exit campus before 3.15 pm under any circumstances

The placements are very decent and they provide internships as early career opportunities as well in 3rd year of studies and the college possess high conversion rates through these internships which support the resume with actual corporate exposure

Here there is no gender separation like boys and girls should be seperate and stuff like that.
It is a autonomous college so courses are changing regularly with the shift in education
Here we have relative grading system therefore there is no ranking and easy to get good grades

Dislikes

We have to pay yearly fees not semester wise it difficult for low income earning families
Money is collected from students for all events happening in the college.
There is a rush for collection of fees at the start of each year and unpaid students might face absent issues

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are moderate but i don't know much about other courses but for civil engineering the average placed ctc is 3 lakh per annum one or two students got higer package but most of the students got lower package as a fresher.

From 5 th semester onwards students are eligible for campus placements. Lots of companies. The highest package is 26 lakhs and the average package is 1.5 lakhs. 98% of students get placed. Doing my best in a career as an entrepreneur.

I applied for vit, snu, cuet examination. A decent university

I applied to many colleges like Thapar College, Manipal College, VIT, and LPU and others. I got selected from many colleges, but I chose this college because of its ranking as it ranked 4th best university and 1st in the best private university. This was the only reason for the selection. Now it is also the 7th best university in india and 2nd in private universities. I only got rejected from the Manipal College of Engineering, and they didn't mention the reason for the rejection, but I assume the entrance exam was not so good for me. I rejected other colleges because I find Amrita University better than others. There are many ways to get admission, like from JEE mains or advanced and Amrita's own exam, AEEE.
