Likes

Friends from college were great to meet, everyone was helpful.
The teachers in the college were all helpful and understanding.
Some of the events were great. We enjoyed it a lot.

Dislikes

The college campus was small and there was not much space to sit.
There were no field games in the college due to lack of ground.
Some of the Watchmen on campus were very rude.

Course Curriculum Overview

The first few hours of the computer science course are very difficult. You have to understand everything. It is beneficial if you solve the programs in it repeatedly.When a teacher explains something clearly, it will be easier for the student to understand, and it will be easier if the exam is taken at least 4 times a year.

Class Size: 125Course Fees: INR 32000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

I have a fee of 45000 per year. And when I fill out the scholarship form, some of the fee is waived, but I have to pay 32000 per year. I fill out the form through the tribal scholarship. The annual fee is reduced by half once the scholarship form is filled.

Campus Life

The college campus was not very big but we enjoyed it a lot because we had good friends. We used to participate in every event and also support each other. It was a lot of fun. Tug of war, dance, doodle art competition, and Charoli writing and painting competitions were also organized in the college.

Admission

The college I wanted to attend had online admission, but I was late in filling the form, so I didn't get admission in the college I wanted. And the collage I wanted is actually the best collage, its campus is very big and the events faculty in that collage were very good.

Faculty

I am in computer science. All the teachers in my college were good and helped me understand what I didn't understand. But some of the teachers were very rude in nature. 40 to 50 students in my class fail in some subject.

Night Life

In the college, the library used to close at 5 pm and open after 10 am, and the hostel timings are from 7 am to 8 pm. And The campus is open from 7 am to 6 pm. We didn't have night college here.And Famous hangout places FC Road and JM Road as well as Sarang behind the collage was very famous.

An Honest Review of My BSc Computer Science College Experience

Likes

The staff and faculty members are very supportive and good in nature.
Friendly student environment. Never heard of any ragging incident taken place.
They conduct Events, workshops, and different activities regularly and neatly.

Dislikes

Canteen food is limited and quality is average
Limited Campus placement opportunities and less industry experience
Lab equipment and resources needs to be improved,

Placement Experience:

Campus placement are limited in the college. A few companies visit during the final year, and students usually becomes eligible fromo the last semester. The packages offered are generally modest, mostly for entry-level roles. Only a small percentage of students get placed thorugh campus drives, while many prefer to apply off-campus for better opportunities. The college provides basic placement support such as info about job openings and guidance, but students need to build their own skills and prepare independently. After completing the degree, students prefer to pursue higher studied, professional courses, or entry-level IT jobs.

The campus itself is huge and beautiful tbh.
The Events or Fest Days like it was crazy like ganesh utsav, Holi , Etc etc.
The exam envoirment was strict but only if we had exams at foundation college otherwise it was not that good if we have exams in same department

Dislikes

The faculty. like they dont even know the subject core or anything from the subject
Food and canteen services. i had worst experinces about the food quality from sandip university.
Campus was Huge but not safe. sometimes hyena comes sometimes cheetah sneak in our campus. at night it looks like haunted college tbh.

Course Curriculum Overview:

like i was sure that i want a course that will give me experince about AIML with subjects like 3D design + Coding + Envoirmental studeis and all. and the course from the sandip actually have all these subjects in a single course thats why i choose this course. curriculam was good it was updated on time. the course helps me to land a internship with goverment cause i learn the basics of AI from this course. the ares of improvements should be the faculty members like they are horrible sometimes they dont even make the notes for the subjects they ask students to make notes and shared with other students. even one of the faculty member shared a playlist form youtube for a specific subject and ask us to take notes from it and prepare for exam not a single leccture he takes at that time. the frequency of the exam is also not that good cause the want us to prepare for the final semster exam which is of 6 months in just 3 months with all the paper works , projects , assignments etc etc.

A relational Day at a SANDIP UNIVERSITY

There is no ragging of any kind in the college. Due to the large number of security forces, bodyguards, and bouncers, there is complete security and privacy in the college.So girls don't have any fear in college, everything is safe.
The faculty speaks in unison with everyone. If someone does not understand in English, they are also explained in their mother tongue, so that no child faces any inconvenience while learning.
In college, not only education but also a lot of attention is paid to culture. Which is very necessary for current students and I have also participated in many new cultural activities.

Dislikes

The college follows the time rule but sometimes there is no understanding about a child or his late arrival. He is stopped at the gate, no matter how far you have come.That there is no one available at the gate to understand the person concerned
The college is completely technical and only blackboards are used during lectures and no projectors of any kind are used. Projectors are used only during presentations and that too at very minimal times.
The highest fee in the college is for MBA and smart classrooms are provided only to them, which is tantamount to partiality to the rest of the students.This makes those people realize that the faculty is poor.

Placement Experience:

After taking admission in the college, the placement drive is started for the student immediately from the second semester. All the information about which is sent to the class wise group and if the student is eligible, you can apply immediately after seeing your experience. The experience is very beautiful. You learn new things. You also understand how the interview round is conducted and what the eligibility is. Most of the companies that come to the college include renowned companies like Microsoft, Infosys, TCS, Deollite, etc., which hire students. The biggest package of Rs 7 crore per NM has been given so far from Sandeep University in the entire Nashik district.Which is a matter of great pride. Sandeep University is the only college where the largest job fair seminar in Maharashtra is attended. In which students from all over Maharashtra come and give live interviews to companies that have come to the college, give their region and announce hiring on the spot.Therefore, this college provides the greatest opportunity for students to meet all the renowned companies under one roof in one place. During the interview, the student's critical thinking skills and his/her inclination are shown rather than CGP and marks to determine whether he/she is eligible or not. In my experience, the college provides such strong education that at least four students are placed in companies every week. I am currently completing my graduation and will be starting my career immediately after that.

Likes

I like the infrastructure of the college, the campus area, the availability of canteen services. Everything is great from student perspective. It also has a seperate study room and a library which can be very helpful to many students.
The staff is pretty supportive but can be a handful at times. Other than that it's understandable. The security services are good and it's very much good overall
Many activities are commenced by the college and there's a variety of different stuff like cultural activites, nss clubs, NCC club. Etc They also have many events and seminars that can help students in many ways. Sports events are there too.

Dislikes

At times, the faculty fails at providing support to students and end up adding pressure usually during exam times
The college has uniforms with not enough variety of colours and at times it gets confusing to many people while looking for students from a specific department.

Placement Experience:

Not sure but I've heard a bit that students are eligible for campus placement since the 5th or 6th semester. If one has enough skills, then they'll be able to get a job of a huge package even while being a fresher. The college offers placements but you'll only get placed if you prove yourself to be better than everyone else in the room.

The placments for Bachlor's were not that great. They are more in the favour of Commerce applicants. The maximum package during my time was 400000 which is really less than the market. Also, the placments and the roles are really average.

My First impression at VU

Likes

All clear paperwork for admission, no hassle of domicile or and other extra documents and direct admission.
Options to choose between subjects as they are not gonna force any thing on you and you could select subjects from different streams also as like I've selected business etiquette from commerce faculty.
The library is well furnished and equipped. In my free time I just sit there and complete my assignment or read some magazines.

Dislikes

Some classrooms lack finishing and somewhere the paint is peeling of.
Some of the guards are arrogant, some in parking lot and in buliding entry gate.

Placement Experience:

I think 5th sem is where students start getting placements or internships. I don't know much about the placements as it's my first year and my colleges started just a month ago. My plans aren't straight forward as I come from a business background I can't predict what would I be doing but I want to have a career in operating system development .

The Campus Story : the lands of horror.

Likes

They give non-typical college feel where you don’t have to think about anyone as a stranger and can talk openly but within some limits and moderation.
Their courses are out of the norm which are fundamentally created around sports and can make a career in that specific field.

Dislikes

Their management is just the same as any other college as normal procedures just take too much time.
Strict rules to be followed by the university guidelines.
Not to expect any good events to be hosted by them

Placement Experience:

My college gives campus placement placement opportunities typically after 4th semester, which is the 2nd half of the 2nd year. As my college has a partnership with IBM so the standards of campus placement go right up as the placement depends on the curriculum performance of the student so can't really say much for this. If saying as a stalemate, getting a placement is basically confirmed if the student maintains his/her CGPA of 6-7, which shows the consistent of the student in their field.

As a student in the Modern College and being a biotechnology student, the College is star rated college under DBT (Department of Biotechnology) . And gives the opportunities to study in Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology , Australia 2.)RASA life sciences, Pune .3.) Applied Nanomaterials pvt.limited, Pune.etc . The students getting out from here also get into Boston , Sydney and other well known institutions. I plan to complete my M.Sc Biotechnology and go for the industrial biotechnology in a drugs and chemicals field.
