Course Curriculum Overview

5

The curriculum is very well designed and also helps us to understand each and every aspect of business and law. It also includes foreign language which broadens our horizon. The curriculum prepares us for practical life well. But we learn better at internships. exams are conducted at the end of each semester. For odd semester it is around November or December and for even semester it is around April or May. The difficulty level of exams is fine. It mostly depends on how much the student has prepared after all.

Placement Experience

4

As i am in my second year, i am not aware about placements of my colledge very well but our college offers placements. the packages are around 5-6 lakhs p.a. Most of the students dont go for placements but rather go for their family business, litigation, higher studies , judiciary etc.

Fees and Financial Aid

The yearly fees changes every year according to semester but on an average, the fees yearly is around ?400000. Scholarships are available for merut students who score highest cgpa in the batch (100%, 50%, 30%, 20%). Students pursuing regular courses have to pay around 25000 semester wise.

Campus Life

5

our college holds various festivals of different states inside the campus. There are TONS of books in the library, more than anyone can imagine. Our college classrooms are air conditioned and has comfortable seats and projectors. There is a annual sport festival in our college called 'Sangathan' in which all the colleges of amity such as amity law school, engineering, fashion etc participate.

Admission

I applied to Sharda and Amity and got scholarship in both the colleges due to my good marks (93 percent in 12th) but I opted for Amity as it's brand value is much more than Sharda. plus, Amity law school is much better than Sharda's.

Faculty

5

Faculty is really great. I mean, they are very well versed with the subjects they have to teach. The student teacher ratio depends on the subjects. Some has 20:1, others have 40:1 but it is convenient for all. Exams are subjective. If you have prepared well, you will get good grades and if you haven't then, god's your best friend. The grading system is as follows:- A+,A,A-,B+,B,B-,C+,C,C-,F

Night Life

4

well, i am not a hosteller so i dont know everything but there are tons of cafe, outlets, canteen in the college. There is a lot of space and gardens in the campus best for a night walk. There is also an arcade and a gym.

Other Applied Colleges

Sharda University | Bachelor of Business Administration + Bachelor of Laws [BBALLB] {Hons.}

Shard, even though it's cheaper does not have a good reputation. Amity is expensive and has its own class and standard. in addition, Amity's Law School is comparatively way better. in fact it would be one of the best among the private law colleges

Placement Experience:

I'm in the final semester, college placement process has started, we have a very good and dedicated corporate resources cell that looks after placement and internships, we were provided internships with the best NGO's in the initial years and then with Supreme court lawyers. We were also offered a stipend for a few internships so as to cover up daily expenses.

Overall experience of the campus is very good. I really enjoy the studies as well as other extra-curricular activities. I am glad that I took admission here as I experience many things that I wouldn't have been able to experience in any other university. Nice friendly and peaceful atmosphere in the campus makes it the best campus. Although the placements is still a worry for us but lets hope we get the best results.
