Course Curriculum Overview

3

Actually the course is well developed considering it includes many laboratory subject providing good hands on experience, but their are some subjects which are pretty silly, but taking the NEP in account it will need testing, also a good thing is that they take feedbacks once the course is done so they have scope of improvement.

Internships Opportunities

4

As Talked earlier this college aces in internships too, even google hires interns from it. There are also research based internships in the college itself along with faculty. The highest stipend was 5.9 Lpa for 2 months at google, France.

Placement Experience

5

The Placement is one of the highlights of the entire college, the highest ever offerewd was 64 LPA. It has a great network of MNCs covered by the their training and placement office. Also it offers some placements abroad too. From 5th semester the stundents are elligible for campus placements. The average package of all branches combined is 13 LPA. The college claims a good placement rate. i too prefer sitting for campus placement

Fees and Financial Aid

I pay yearly pay 4701/-, which is the fees for SC as well ST category, also PWD if applicable. This is inclusive of tution fees, caution fees etc. The usual fees is actually somewhere around 84,000/-. There is no such management quota available, aas its a prestigious institute which doesn't promote such things. I avail the Government of India Post Matric Scholarship. Affordability wise also its comparatively great, excluding reservations. Also the college offers private scholarships from tatas and ONGC, also Alumni Association.

Campus Life

4

Their are many fests the cultural fest named Pratibimb usually lasting for 3 days, the Technovanza which have crazy events like robo wars, robo strike auto show. Clubs are just too fascinating, they have a racing, robotics and even a literature club. Also the library is pretty big and as its old we could find some rare books too. Talking of sports it has a commitee for it too named enthusia. This is not the type of college which would kill your social life.

Hostel Facilities

3

There are in total 6 blocks, 3 for boys and 3 for girls. These both are non government and are managed by various committees, we need to apply for them in their offices, and students living in other cities are priortized. Also there are 2 mess for boys. The rooms and Pgs are expensive nearby, as its in central Mumbai.

Admission

i also got admission to VNIT Metallurgy but chose as This college has a legacy attached to its name and has laid the cream of the society for example ex chairperson of BARC. Also its one of the oldest and prestigious institutes not only of India but Asia, 137 YEARS. The placement ratio is also great just after IIT Bombay in the entire of Maharashtra. The highest package last year offered was of 57 LPA. The college admits only on the basis of MHTCET and there's also an NRI and gulf counries. But the competition is very cut throat. For gen category it is around 94 percentile for the least demanding branch.

Faculty

4

The faculty is pretty great as most of them are either P.hd qualified or pursuing. There are many professors with citations to their name and have contributed to a lot, aand their text books are used even by Mumbai University. One such great example would be Prof. Dr. Dattaray Wahval. The pattern for the semester is A Mid sem would be conducted in between the Semester of half the syllabus. The grading is relative and is done in pattern, 50% from End Sem exams, 30% from mid sems and 20% from Teachers assesment.

Night Life

3

Actually theirs not much to night life as the gate closing time for boys is 11:30 and for girls its 10:00. our colleg is pretty close to dadar chowpatty so it is pretty popular also, there's this famous mysore cafe for south indian.

Placement Experience:

Placements at ADYPU are moderate and structred . Students usually become eligilble from the final year for campus drives. Various startups and mid level comapnies visit for roles in sales, marketing, operatioons and tech support . The highest pacakage generally ranges arounf 45-50LPA , while the average package is around 4.5-6 LPA , depending on the profile . A fair percentage of active students secure placements. After completing my degree, i plan to focus on skill development and pursue better career op;portunities.

Placement Experience:

placements in GHRCE are pretty good for CS/IT branches. Students become eligible from 7th semester, but companies starts giving training sessions from 6th sem itself. Many known companies visits like Tcs, Wipro, Capgemini, cognizant, Infosis etc The highest package goes around 20-22 LPA while the average package is around 5-6 LPA. Almost 70-80% students from CS/IT get placed. My plans after getting the degree is to get a stable job and then do masters.

Government College of Engineering, Bachelor of Technology [B.Tech] (Artificial Intelligence & Data Science)
Reviewed on Mar 2, 2025(Enrolled 2022)

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course out of sheer curiosity and intrest in the field of Artificial Intelligence . The course offered by the college encapsulates all the major subtopics included in the field. Theoretically the curriculum offers great knowledge about various topics from your course however you yourself have to figure out how do you build your practical skills which you can use in the real world. teaching methods can be improvised by implementing a more practical learning based approach rather than relying on the theoretical part of the subject. there are 2exams per semester, one small exam called as mid semester exams and the other one is the major exam called as final semester exam. difficulty of exam is usually easy to moderate and one can easily pass the exam even if he/she does not study regularly.
