Course Curriculum Overview

4

I rate the course curriculum in terms of the subjects and its relevance for the enhancement abilities of comprehensiveness. When choosing the course several aspects interests like subject importance, specializations, career goals etc. Core subjects of the course like focus on software development programming languages, artificial intelligence and date structures. Whether it core mechanical or geotechnical engineering it will be the huge impact on choosing the course. The curriculum has also prepares for the current industry trends plays a major role like providing exposure to the fields that offer good employment in the real-world.

Campus Life

4

My campus life is quite excellent were i got to have a great time in spending with everyone in these 4 years of my engineering. I also involved in many social aspects like conducting technical fests in the college, participated in oraginising the events like photographic clubs, moto-drives and automobile engineering events. Spring spree is the name for our technical festivals which we used organise in every annual coming year of september. There are 3,500 volumes of materials in every field of department were available in the library with lots of abundance knowledge and engineering materials. In every department there are smart e-class facilities is provided with a effeciency of understanding the subject by tackling with technological advancemnet of studies. Every year our college is to be 1st in inter-college tournments in basketball were i also been a key player for the sport. No only that our college is very encouraging in condusting many sports like cricket, volleyball, kabaddi and other extracurricular activities. Many sets of student groups is to gather for social groups which impacted on staying unity for student life growth.

Admission

The reason i chosen this college because of its quality of education and infrastructure. Not only that its effeciency of conducting placements inorder to employment for every student for their career growth. It is also one of the top institutes in the state for about decade and a long. When compared to the other colleges my college has a better in terms of infrastructure, faculty and great placement drive. I previously got an opportunity for the siddharth college of engineering in other state where i found that there is lack effecient faculty and poor infrastructure. About the admission process of my college is 1,06,000 apart from the concession. I applied for sri indu college engineering and got confirmed for the admission since i had a some other better college in my mind went with gut feeling of the second thought and ended up in the best engineering college. I never got rejection in any college due to followed by good academics . However, i myself went for the better career growth opportunity to be in the best college. Since this is the reason i couldn't make it in other optional colleges. A mentioned my admission process went same with every college. My mathematical, physics score was good in my intermediate so i was eligible in every course which i can excel so choosed mechanical as the course for my career. The overall admisssion experience is long and lengthy process it took like a half-a-day which went very well with guidance of the adminsitration faculty people.

Faculty

Educational qualification and the experitise about the faculty members are commendable. Many of my faculty lectureres hold Phd in core specific departments and provide abundance of knowledge out the syllabus structure. The course structure is based on the year of academics which classifies of fours for each there are 2 semisters which overall of 8 semisters. The curriculum emphasizes practical learning through labs, projects and internships preparing the for both industry roles and further academics. The exam system is conducted as two mid-term internals and one external which is the final exams for each semister. After each semister exam aggregate percentage will be evaluated and based on the credits the candidate he/she will be eligible to promote for the next semister or the year with a cut-off credit system by the examination board. The faculty-to-student ratio also have effective teachings by the professors in their respective subjects. Availability of the faculty has access for everyone and a good workload by the professors. I like Jagadish sir he use to be one of the incharge of the robotics machinery and FEM(finite element methods) is so helpful in our by providing aspects of the subject doubts. Viraji ma'am who teaches Mechanics has very poor engagement with the students and no punctuality for the classes which i dislike about her. In each semister there are 6 subjects and 1 practical lab as a subject which varies on each year semisters. They use to be difficult in the sense of because of the core and deep understanding of the subjects but if we understand the subject with a good faculty around it makes easy. Out of 50 students the ratio is less like 1-12 students use to be fail in every semister. Relevance of the course is the key factor for every semister subjects because it adds the credits to the final aggregate percentage.

Night Life

4

The nightlife is great compared to other colleges were we had good amount food stalls and accesiblity for everything around the campus. My favorite hangout spots in the college are many like gym area, cafeteria, indoor carrom boards room. Everyday we used have some time to chill in these mentioned spots and also creates the harmony of the people around us. After the classes students spent some quality time in the campus like an hour and will be dispersed for the day. My college hostel is to be the walkable distance from my college were the campus timings is morning 9am to evening 4:30pm. Since my college is located a bit far from the metro city the environment is greenary around the campus big lanes connected to my college entrance and a lot of security around us. The overall experience was memorable which i miss so much and feel like revist sometime because of this all kinds of experience it shaped me as good human with lot of values and discipline.

Placement Experience:

From 4th sem itself students are eligible for placements. Although students get access to paid internships from their 1st year itself, just they need some effort. But as NIAT is yet new and no batch has passed out yet so we still don't have the exact placement percentage rate. But as we are getting paid internships from 1st year itself so it's very evident that placement would also be good

No batch has graduated yet so there's no record of placement data yet. But more than 200 students got internships. Also the unique point of NIAT is students gets internships from their 1st year itself. NIAT has connection in the industry also its unique teaching style, this allows 1st year students to get internships. Although there is no pass out batch yet, still many people got placed in good companies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My college course curriculum is outdated .As im studying in computer science and engineering,i wpuld love to study about technological aspects and grow as a software engineering but in the course curriculam they teach my about mechanical workshops,There were no practical experience it jsut understanding the concept with theoritical part . i would love lo code but my college wastes entire time by helping with electricals, meachanical basics. i dont think is it really necessary for me understand in all the feilds they think that student should perform in all the fields as im in computer science and engineering student ,They should teach me more about coding and computer ,how it industries works and how these technology enhacning ,the arenot even explore about all these sectos they only teaching me about fundametals of all the subjects which is never useful for my studies . as i am in final year of btech i thought learning and deepdiving into computerscience and engineering subjects is more greater than learning all sector fundamentals,The area they need to improve is removing some of the oudated syllabus from their ciricullum and enhcing with the pratical experience not to teach only theoritical part. they have to teach all the areas with realtime examples. The timings of exams is very good .we do have 2 mid exams and one semester final exams for each sem and the subjects feels meduim level difficulty

Students become eligible for campus placements after their 6th semester. The companies start visiting in 7th and 8th semesters. The companies are not much good and are mostly service based. So the placement statistics are also not much good. The highest placement last year was 10 lpa and the median placement was around 4.1 lpa. The placements were starting from 2.5 lpa. The better option for students is to apply for off-campus placements or start preparing for competitive exams
