internal / external all marks are based on faculties only. The worst form of prejudice happens, and girls are given more marks most of the time, just bcas they are girls. Aacademic wise this is the worst of all. postive is the University environment and freedom to enjoy urself inside the campus. not much restrictions are there. Plz don't join computer science dept, if u r opting for this pondicherry University.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course is outdated. more latest and current trending technical education syllabus must be added. Exam is held according to the faculty's choice. Not everyone follows the standard procedure. Students are made wandering and suffering by some, egoistical faculties.
College Events
University wise hostel day, sports day, and many state wise department wise cultural events will be held. In our dept of computer science, only farewell and fresher's day are held.that too with students money only.
Fee Structure And Facilities
untill 2018, it was reasonably price for College wise., But it doesn't justify our dept. bcas nothing is there in this dept. from 2019 onwards they have said, that fees will be hiked upto 200%. if the hike is on, it will be too expensive.
Fees and Financial Aid
scholarship is provided to the first 3 students in the entrance exam merit list. And also full fees funding is supported for sc/st students. beyond that, class first students are given monthly scholarship. it will be credited only after 6-10months.
Campus Life
labs are worst ever in the University. Outer to dept of Computer science, University has various activities like arts, dance, drama, sports etc. we have to go by ourselves and find it. In Dept. there is nothing useful. very rarely some namesake events happens.
Hostel Facilities
hostels are avg only, its according to the price and in the standard of usual govt. colleges. food are average., and Time to time basis. But there will be no warden or security torture., u can roam and wander anywhere and at anytime.
Alumni/Alumna
ya some what helpful.untill now they don't have any separate website for alumni. even though , if they have not all are connected in that. only self approaching can be done to get help from alumni. college or dept has nothing to do with this.
Admission
First we have to attend the entrance exam. Then based on the marks, selection list & waiting list will be published. If there are vacancies, the waiting list candidates can check the website and attend the counselling.
Faculty
Most of them are head weight & acts like a physco. Very few are friendly and understanding. we must be Beware of faculties character and act accordingly. since it's an University, no one can question them. so they act as self authority.
