Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course curriculum is relevant, with a systematic approach to each concept.I liked the way the courses moved on with each semester. The exams are also in-par with the best, with good complexity of questions for real life problems.

Internships Opportunities

3

The internships and placement oppurtunities are not bad, with a few companies attending it. The college provides support through the CIR regarding internship and placements. Some of the companies include Amazon,TCS,Infosys etc.

Placement Experience

3

Placements are moderate, which was actually surprising for me after finding out. Some extrordinary offers do exist, like evenoffers from google. But compared to the entire student strength, the placements are low.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee for slab 2 in CSE is 2,90,000 (Tuition) + 1,10,000 (hostel + mess). The fee structure increases from slab1 to slab 4.The tuition fee for Slab 1 is 1,50,000 .The non scholarship fee is around 6,00,000.

Campus Life

4

The fests here include ANOKHA ( a tech fest, usually happening in November,by the school of engineering), PRAGATI(Afest for the school of business),and other events like Gokulashtami and Onam. The fests are fun, with good food stalls , exhibitions, talk shows, concerts etc.

Hostel Facilities

4

The rooms are good, with a cot, a desk with a night lamp and a cupboard for each student. A room is for four students. Each room is equipped with a wifi, which is good. The food , though not great is good for the fee.

Admission

I applied for Jee mains and Shiv Nadar. Amrita was my only backup plan iff jee went bad. And i didn't get any good colleges with the course i wanted through jee, so here i am at Amrita.Amrita is a good college with an Nirf ranking below 10,which made me choose amrita.

Faculty

4

The faculties are not bad.The course structure is very good. The exam system mainly has a mid sem,end sem for each semester. The internals constitute a major chunk of your final marks which your grade depends on, it includes class tests and assignments. The marking system is Relative grading.

Night Life

2

NIGHT LIFE ?!! Hell Nah. There is literally no night life. We have to be inside the hostel before 9 pm, and give the biometric attendance. Forgot giving the attendance? Write an apology as an imposition 50 times OVERNIGHT to get your id card back. There will be guards on rounds with super bright flashlights roaming all around the campus at night.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is relevant and provides a good balance of theoretical knowledge and practical learning. It prepares students for real-world applications, but more industry projects, practical sessions, and updated teaching methods would help. Exams are generally well-spaced and moderately difficult.

Placement Experience:

Placements are generally decent, with students becoming eligible from the final year. Several companies visit for recruitment, offering roles in technical and non-technical fields. Packages vary by company, and placement opportunities depend on skills and performance. Many students secure jobs, while others pursue higher studies or competitive exams.
