Course Curriculum Overview

3

The syllabus in MME is more towards chemistry and physics inclined .. Since 1st yr syllabus is similar to all branches ... The JEE syllabus is almost 60% here in 1st yr .... Teachers either chalk talk or use ppt while teaching Most of them send their ppts or suggest books which u can follow for your exams ... But i feel the curriculum can be advanced...and practical

Fees and Financial Aid

The first sem installment is higher due to admission newly that is around 1 lakh...if any fee reimbursement is there , it is applicable accordingly and later scholarships can be applicable, the requirements include proper documents especially income certificate ... For sem 2 the tuition fee is 62.5k Hostel fee is 46k For income less than 1 lakh per annum their tuition fee is totally reimbursed

Campus Life

4

From the start, within one month in September we had two fests one is Sportsfete and another is Festember... sports and cultural fests respectively... Had fun participating in them ...Sportsfete is interested department competition whereas festember is cultural fest with loaded events and clubs ...even food stalls are installed for that moment... General clubs open at sem 2 and 3 to join and improvise urself ....

Admission

I applied for VIT vellore and bits colleges too since I wrote the entrance exams of them but I chose not Trichy being reasonable fee compared to bits and it has NIRF 9th rank in engineering Obviously better than vit..and it's competing with top IITS as well... It's considered to be better than new gen IITs too... Main criteria is to get certain percentile in JEE mains and 75 % in boards to get into NIT TRICHY

Faculty

3

For every subject u will have A HOD and it's almost 1 : 35 per subject ... There will be PhD scholars who help the subject lecturer and students as well.. The syllabus is fine but felt outdated , theory is more especially in 1st yr... Faculty is friendly from my experience ... U will have two CTs and One end sem in 1st sem

Night Life

4

For first year boys , the curfew timing is 10 pm and for girls it is 9 pm....u will have some canteens such as coke station and lassi shop till almost 4 am at the morning which is especially useful when we go for late night studies during sem preparation in octagon ...which is go for study area with PCs installed...we have many go to eat spots outside and inside campus too...

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because it covers important subjects related to computer science, programming, databases, networking, and emerging technologies. The combination of theoretical knowledge and practical subjects influenced my decision to choose this course. The curriculum provides a good foundation in technical concepts and programming. However, more practical projects, industry-based training, internships, and real-world applications would help students become better prepared for careers and further studies.
