Remarks
Some faculties could be improved. Like there are many professor who only read books in front of students. There should be more focus on practical knowledge than the theoretical knowledge. Labs should be improved, equipment are old.
Course Curriculum Overview
There are too many courses in jamia. In B.Tech there ar 5 sub branches like 1. Computer science Egineering 2. Civil Engineering 3. Electronics and communication engineering 4. Electrical engineering 5. Mechanical engineering The exam pattern are 2 sessional of 20-20 marks each and a end semester exam of 60 in total of 100
Placement Experience
The overall placement is average. There is about 100% placement in Computer Science Engineering where as in Civil Engineering and Mechanical Engineering the placement is not that good. In Electrical Engineering and Electronics and Communication placement is average. College provide internship some students get paid the average stipend for intern is about 6-7k.
College Events
In Jamia there is Jamia Foundation Day Every year which is celebrated 3 days. And every department have there fest and parties. In Engineering there is a fest every year in month of feb/march. There different societies which organises the fest like IEE, ASCE and many more.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Jamia fee structure is very good and economical compared to other colleges. In B.Tech the fee is about 10K or less which is too low compared to other colleges like IIT's (around 200k) and NIT's (around 150k).
Fees and Financial Aid
There are several scholarship program's for the needy students. I have applied for Scholarship offered by Ministry of minority by central government and the provide around 7K. There are some other scholarships offered by teachers association of jamia
Campus Life
In Jamia there is a sports complex which allows students to play around every game except cricket the don't allow easily for any cricket tournaments. There are several labs in engineering department like Physics lab, Chemistry lab, Structural Analysis lab, Environment Lab etc.
Alumni/Alumna
In hostel there is bond between senior and junior but in college we hardly get much helps from seniors. There are some helpful senior but overall we can it is average. There is a Alumni Association which organises different programs to meet there junior and motivate them
Admission
IIT JEE MAINS SCORE Jamia requires student to fill the Jamia entrance form along with IIT JEE mains. And then they release the selected students list along with a waiting list for the students who could get admission if seats are vecant
Faculty
The faculty is overall average. Some Professor are too good and some are average. In civil there are much more senior faculty than that of Computer Science Egineering. That's why Jamia is known for their civil students.
