COMMERCE WAS THE BEST CHOICE OF MY LIFE I WAS INTERESTED IN BUSINESS FIELD AS COMMERCE MADE THE BEST FOUNDATION FOR IT. COLLEGE DAYS MUST MAKE MEMORIES BUT IT SHOULD NEVER MAKE A STUDENT FEEL STRAIN OR STRESS IN STUDIES AS THE MANAGEMENT SHOULD EXPAND THE BREAK HOURS AND MAKE STUDENT FEEL FREE IN THE CAMPUS.

YEARLY FEES: 30000 AFTER COMPLETING EXAMS WE PAID 250 FOR TRANSFER CERTIFICATE WHICH INCLUDED MARKSCARD ALMOST ALL OF OUR CLASSMATES PAID SAME FEES BECAUSE THERE WAS CONCESSION FOR DISTINCTION STUDENTS .

Campus Life

WE STUDIED IN THE CORONA PANDAMIC TIME AND 1ST YEAR WAS NOT SO GOOD AS WE COULDN'T ENJOY MUCH BUT NEXT YEAR WE MADE A LOT FOR MEMORIES AND WHICH IS UNFORGETTABLE AND FEELINGS, ATTRACTIONS TOWARDS EACH OTHER WAS JUST UNEXPRESSABLE.

Admission

TO BE HONEST THE COLLEGE WAS VERY NEAR TO MY HOME AND MANY OF MY FRIEND JOINED TO THE SAME COLLEGE SO THEY MADE ME TO JOIN AND IT WAS GOOD. BEST PART OF THE COLLEGE IS WHEN WE WERE STUDYING WE USED TO SPEND MOST OF THE TIME OUTSIDE OF CLASSES AND MAIN PART IS THE COLLEGE WAS CLOSE TO HIGHWAY....

FACULTY MEMBERS WERE NICE TOWARDS STUDENTS BUT LITTLE BIT OF STRICTNESS OUR ACCOUNTANCY BHARTHI MAM, ENGLISH LEENA MAM, ECONOMICS VASANTH SIR WAS MY FAV AND MOST UNDERSTANDING TEACHERS OF ALL TIME WHERE THEY USE TO INTERACT WITH US AND ALSO VERY PERFECT AND GOOD AT THERE TEACHING WITH THE GOOD FACULTY WE USE TO SCORE GOOD MARKS WITHOUT FAIL

Night Life

THERE WAS NO SUCH THINGS BEACUSE COLLEGE WAS OUTSIDE THE CITY THERE WAS NO HOSTEL FACILITY IN OUR COLLEGE THERE WERE ONLY FEW HANGOUT PLACES IN OUR COLLEGE THE COLLEGE WAS NEAR TO HIGHWAY AS WE CAN TAKE A RIDE.

Academic Curriculum- they constantly upgrade the subjects which needs to be taught
Labs - very well equipped labs for all branches.
You can choose to drop a lab and do it in winter break or summer break

Dislikes

very less holidays only 3rd saturday is holiday and they dont give holidays for jayantis and all
Auto drivers near the college. this is pure daylight robbery

Placement Experience:

From your 7th semester you become eligible to get placed and it is mandatory to get internship before you get placed which the college helps you to get and around 400-500 companies visit, and a good amount of offers are made by them. The average package stands somewhere around 11LPA -12LPA and the highest goes to 50LPA-60LPA and the median stands around 9-10LPA.

The environment in the college is really good, there is no ragging and discipline is taken seriously
The facilities provided by the college like auditorium, library, amphitheatre, labs, classroom with smartboards and proper internet connection
The faculty here are really understanding and provide real life examples which makes learning easier and way more fun

Dislikes

Attendance is mandatory in the college which includes having atleast 75% of attendance.
There is a dresscode in college and we have to dress in formal attire only
College is far from house which makes it difficult to reach on time if traffic is there

Placement Experience:

There are 240+ companies that come for placements which include Deloitte, KPMG, Neolntelli, Grant Thornton, etc.. There are few students who even opt for going to further studies instead of getting placed... The highest package offered is 9LPA whereas the average package is around 6LPA.

Likes

The faculty is very friendly and always encourage us to speak up in class and be more confident.
There are a lot of events that take place, most of which are conducted by students themselves.
The hostel is located in the campus itself so it makes going and coming quicker and safer too.

Dislikes

The attendance is very strict about attendance
The classes can feel tiring especially if you aren't habituated to sitting for more than one hour in one place

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for campus placements in the 3rd year that is during the 5th semester. Many companies such as Deloitte, Infosys, Grant Thornton, EY as well as Goorej are some of the most prominent industries. There is also a one week immersion with IIM Bangalore as well as a 10 day program in Singapore.

The teachers are highly knowledgeable and experienced in their respective subjects. They explain concepts clearly and are always approachable for doubts.
Each student as a mentor who provides academic support, career advice and help us succeed in our goals.
Frequent guest lectures, hackathons, and workshops that are very useful as they provide exposure to real-world concept.

Dislikes

There are comparatively fewer extracurricular activities offered in the college.

Placement Experience:

Placements in the college are decent, especially for MCA students who actively build their skills. The college provides placement training from earlier semesters, including aptitude test, coding practice, and mock interviews which helps in preparation.

Yes our college provide placements, from final year that is 7th semester they will allow for placements, Many companies visited our college like tcs, Cognizant, indegene, microland etc and average package is 400000 and highest is 1500000 it given by oracle, Nearly 60 percent students got that is either in both technical and non technical jobs, my plans to join a IT company

Campus Life and Social Interaction : Vibrant campus Life : The campus offer a dynamic environment with multiple student clubs , technicals societies , cultural fests ,and sports events students engaage in regular extracurricular activities.
Faculty Experience and Mentorship : Experienced faculty : The faculty at SVIT is often described as appreciable , knowledge, and supportive . professors are well - versed in there respective fields ,and many have industrial experience .
Placement support : Strong placement record: SVIT hasa good placement record ,with many students securing in top - tier companies like TCS , Wipro , Accenture, Infosys,. The college guidence through placement offers traning .

Dislikes

Collaborative Environment : Group project and assignment is core elements of curriculum with many course designed to involve group work and collaborative projects.
Cultural Activities : Are not celebrated more in semister
Collaborative learning : Communication barrier in larger teams especially working with different backgrounds or academic disciplines.

Placement Experience:

The placement at SVIT Bengaluru area quite impressive , especially in the technical field like Computer science, Civil, Electrical and Machanical Engineering.The college has a dedicated placement cell that students get the best opportunities for internship and final placement .At SVIT , Students typically become eligible for campus placement from the 7 th semester . However, the placement cell starts preparing students for interview and skill development from the 5 th semester onwards though mock interview , resume - building workshops , and personality development session.SVIT Bengaluru has strong industry connection , especially in the IT and engineering sectors .some of the companies that regularly visit the campus recruitment includes. TCS , Infosys , Wipro, Congnizant, Accenture,IBM, Capgemini ,Tech Mahendra , Amazon.High- package : The highest salary package offered in recent year was around 15 - 18 lakhs per annum for candidates . Average package: The average salary package offered is ar8 4- 5 lakhs per annum. The placement rates at SVIT is consistently high . On average , around 80-85% of eligible students get placed in good companies.

Lectureres having very good knowledge about there subject and they will teach us in the easy techniques.
Revision classes is much needed for all students it is very useful to remember the concept
They will do the Practical classes, which is much needed for medical students

Dislikes

The classrooms are small and we had faced little adjustment issues
The building was very near to main road and there is no enough space

Placement Experience:

The placement of the college is very fair enough. By the last semister the students are eligible for campus selection. I selected for the clumax medall company in the campus selection before completion of my board examination.

I wrote NEET and cleared with a decent score, they also take KCET score for admissions if you are from Karnataka state. 50% is the minimum marks to obtain, you can either apply online or in person. The candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of the score of entrance exams and their boards.

My experience in the University of Mysore

To register as a student in the university, you should have completed your PU College or 10+2 school. Students should pass their bachelors with minimum 55% aggregate. Students belonging to any field can apply for ancient history and archaeology, there is no specific subject to pass. Admissions are held in the month of August and I think around Rs.500 is paid for application fee. More information is available in the university website only. There are reservations benefits for different castes. Entrance exam is held after registering as a student. The syllabus for the test is also available in the website. Previous year question papers are also available to go through. Entrance exams are taken in MCQ format. Exams are not that hard. After few days, two lists are announced for admission. Accordingly visit the department in Mysore and submit all the documents for admission in the department....Read More
