Course Curriculum Overview
The subjects included in the curriculum were all relevant to my interest. So i choose this course. The curriculum helps me get the knowledge and analysis that are applicable in the real time.
Placement Experience
I had not applied for placements from my college but i had applied for placements through the Central Placement Cell of Delhi University. Wherein i had applied for FRR Forex pvt. Ltd., Tata Consultancy Services, Ace Insurance, and more. I don't have the exact idea about the package and the percentage of the students that got selected. As i am enrolled into the CMA program, so i am focusing to clear that and secure a job.
Fees and Financial Aid
The 3rd year fees that i had paid was Rs 13500, which is the annual fees all inclusive of tuition fees and all other fees. The fees that my batchmates for other categories like BA or Bsc are paying quite similar i think, as i do not have the exact idea what they are paying but yes it is quite similar. There are scholarships available for students.
Campus Life
Fests in Delhi University starts from the month of February. There are wide variety of books available in the library. The sports and extra curricular activities offered in the campus are quite interesting and there are many of the stars from sports faculty of the college like Harshit Rana and many more.
Admission
I applied for most of the colleges under Delhi University, and also i applied for NIMS University wherein i was getting confirm admission but as i was interested to get into Delhi University so i didnt loose hope and at the end i got it. I go lt admitted into Swami Shraddhanand College. I liked Delhi University because it is one of the best Universities in India as i have heard and researched. The admission process of getting admitted into Delhi University was all online through CUET-UG. A student has to appear for examination under CUET NTA and clear the exams. Therein the colleges or universities have their cut offs and if you clear the cut offs you get to apply for the colleges under the specified university and then if you get selected by a college, you get admitted into it.
Faculty
I cannot exactly define the ratio of faculty to student. The faculty- student relationship is good or can say fair enough. The faculty encourages the students. The faculty shares information about the curriculum and extra curricular activities. It is that all the faculties are good, but the most i liked the Commerce Faculty. They are helpful, inducive. Coming to the exams, the exams are held twice i.e., the end-sem exams. I cannot exactly define the number of students who fail to clear the exams. And about the difficulty of the examination is that it is between moderate to difficult level.
Night Life
There are cafeteria outside the campus and also one canteen inside the campus. Whereas there is no hostel. The most popular place outside campus is the Khatu Shyam Delhi Dham nearby and also there are numerous temples around. There Gyms available outside campus.
