environment of my college is far better than all the other colleges I have been to, there is zero to none chances of there ever being something unsafe on campus
maintenance of my college is taken very seriously, in only my 1st month of attending college ii saw precautions being taken due to heavy flooding in the college campus
accessibility is one of the things in my college that is so serious and provided with such care that it feels weird when outside campus no such accessibility is not to be seen

Dislikes

there is little to no room for giving students relaxibility in situations of difficulty during talks of giving a leave or not

philosophy as va discipline covers mostlt all the subjects related to humanities, it'll widen your knowledge and you thinking abillity more than that of a oridinary student, the job market is quite difficult for this course

i have not yet explored the internship oppurtunites that are offered under my college and even what kind of interneships are provided, mostly the work im doing is with my clubs and societies that i am a part of and tasks that they provide me to do

Fees and Financial Aid

i paid 16,000 for the enitirety of my course, all in all less than 20 thousand was spent on my university placement without any reserved category quota. many scholorships and financial aids are provided from the college shared by our professors

Campus Life

something or other events are always taking place in the college, fair and events include marketing oppurtunites and socialable interactions with other people, there are more than 60+ clubs and societies catered to even the littlest of hobby or interest people are considerable and appproachable and helpful

Admission

miranda house is a premier college for women accalaimed all over india and it has reputable and respectable history, the women who have studies and are still studying in the college are powerful and strong and the college makes that very easy to be

Faculty

for my class of 65 student in one sem atleast 3-4 faculty is teachinf and they are very approachable nidhi ma'am and saloni ma'am who are guest faculty and great knowledge and excellency in connecting with their students exams are not easy but easily managable if we have studied

Night Life

i am a day scholor so i go home after completing all my classes and thus never experienced the night life of my college yet but considering many guards and even a police station is nearby i assume the premises are safe

Likes

Personally I like my college's environment. It's so friendly and cooperative.
It's an all girls college so it's so comfortable as it is away from male gaze.
I highly do recommend this college for study and personal growth.

Dislikes

I somewhat dislike it's canteen. The food is not as good as our expectations.
The prices in canteen is very high with low quality food.
I dislike the thing that a few professors favour some fix students.

Yeah the curriculum here is so strong, it's student friendly and ability enhancement. The courses offer here are relevant and can be applicable in our day to day lives. It gives us insight into ourselves.

My college was a girl's college. There are maximum 60students in a class. Prints were quite cheap in the college cafe.
There were many fest functions in my college. I also participated in the dance fest in my first year. We also used to go on picnics from college.
India's chief guest at the annual function was M Venkaiah Naidu.

Dislikes

College fees were very high for general category people.
The behavior of many teachers was quite rude and arrogant as if they were teaching us for free.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I wanted to do PhD in Political Science but due to percentage I took up BA program. Teachers used to provide notes but mostly I used to be off. There was nothing wrong with the college. Exam timings were good.

Infrastructure of the college is very up-to-date.
College crowd is very active and diverse, giving opportunity to learn and explore.
Teachers are very well educated and friendly towards the students.

Dislikes

Sports facilities at the college need to be improved.
Few teachers methods of teaching are traditional and outdated.
There is strict criteria for attendance, to maintain 66.7 percent

Placement Experience:

Final your students are eligible for the campus placement. Companies visited are HDFC Bank, Zomato, Swiggy, mahindra,EY, Deloitte and others. Highest package was around 30 lacs per annum and the average package is around 4 lakhs. Job profiles were mostly business analyst, research and development, PR and others. I will prepare for civil services examinations after clearing my graduation.

Our placement services is efficient and effective which always comes up with quality companies in terms of employment and package.
We have solid infrastructure which includes medical rooms, basketball ground, main ground, fest ground etc.
Our faculties expert in their teaching of respective subject where the teaching method is technology based and mentorship quality is demand based

Dislikes

Our course curriculum is relevant but sometimes it lacks little practical learning.

Placement Experience:

Student set in the placement from 5th semester where where is companies visited college for the campus placement such as KPMG, Zomato Deloitte, etc and number of offers made were not explicitly disclosed by the college and highest package was 25 lakhs and average package was 4 lakhs and profile offered were finance, marketing, etc around 70% students placed from my college and my plans after the graduation is to pursue PHD.

Moments of happiness

Likes

I liked the ration of girls and boys it's almost same .
The teaching method of teachers and the library.
College infrastructure and various opportunities and sports ground .

Dislikes

Events in college are usually too short like till 5 pm only .
Classes starts at 8:40 in winters atleast it should start by 10 .

Placement Experience:

English hons is not a course in which placement is that widespread as far as I'm aware . But our college provides placements for other courses like b.com etc and we have placement cell which keeps updating us on internship or placement opportunities and overall package is quite good .

As a future law student philosophy was one of the options which was good to opt. Secondly, comparatively less people opt it and it can be one of the better choices if you are preparing for upsc and taking it as an optional. Teaching can be made more interactive as the topics are really interesting

Honest review of ddu

Likes

The teaching faculty is really nice and polite. They usually help students even when u contact them after college hours.
The engagements and the quality of the social interactions in this college is also very good and very uplifting.
The quality of the infrastructure is very good compared to other colleges in du, considering its very new.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because the thought of learning about the literature of the older times was pretty exciting to me while I was choosing the course. The curriculum however does prepares you if you want to continue ur academic journey in the English field.

Ramjas the heaven on earth

Remarks:

Positive : the faculties are good and I could say our college is the meeting place of various cultures ranging from Kerala to jammukashmir Negative: the infrastructure is poor. Labs and libraries are not so good. And there are stray dogs who often steps into classes and make us afraid. College is not fully air conditioned but is on processing.
