Course Curriculum Overview

4

We are affliated to the anna university so the syllabus and curriculum are all prepared by the university. The curriculum was good. Areas of improvement for me would be the blooming technologies like AI and deep learning, IOT which were not included in electronics and communication syllabus. Curriculum is just 50 percent helpful when we compare it with the outer real world. But this curriculum acts as a foundation and helps us grow individually.

Internships Opportunities

4

Qspiders and nettyfish had offered intership with a stipend of Rs.10,000 per month considering the performance of the students . This internship was very helpful to learn the basics of electronics were we worked on projects with raspberry pi, arduino, embedded etc.

Placement Experience

5

We are offered placement training during the start of our final year. These trainings helped us crack aptitude, coding and interviews confidently. I was offered a package of 3lakh per annum.few companies that visited us are tcs, chiptest, datapatterns, walmarr. Amazon, techmahindra, infosys, wipro etc

Fees and Financial Aid

I have completed my post and undergraduation from Meenakshi college of engineering. For my B.E ( ECE) my fees structure was Rs.50,000 with scholarship per year and for M.E ( APPLIED ELECTRONICS) it was Rs.40,000 per year ( Rs.20,000 financial assistance was provided every year from the total 60k) because of me being an alumni.

Campus Life

3

Cultural events were less, we had alumini whatsapp groups which kept us connected with the staffs. Sports activities got minimized after the 2nd semester. We had many technical events like webinar and workshops.

Admission

I had applied for my B.E in Easwari Engineering College but couldn't get through because of my cutoff. My option b was MCE which i dont regret now. I got through MCE by anna university counseling in govt quota. The application was hassle free. And the fees structure was moderate when compared to easwari

Faculty

4

I had a good relationship with all the faculties of my department. Staffs would clear my doubt and were approachable There were 6 theory and 2 lab per semester as per the 2017 regulation. The first two years of the study was not easy for any student. We had nearly 40 to 60 students maximum in class . During my batch we had 16 staffs but i cant remember the overall count of the students

Night Life

4

I am a day scholar so i dont know about the night life. And regarding the hostel, it is not inside the campus or near the college . So i literally have no idea about the night life of hostel. There are a few hang out places outside the college.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is relevant and provides a good balance of theoretical knowledge and practical learning. It prepares students for real-world applications, but more industry projects, practical sessions, and updated teaching methods would help. Exams are generally well-spaced and moderately difficult.

Placement Experience:

Placements are generally decent, with students becoming eligible from the final year. Several companies visit for recruitment, offering roles in technical and non-technical fields. Packages vary by company, and placement opportunities depend on skills and performance. Many students secure jobs, while others pursue higher studies or competitive exams.
