Likes

the college campus is very large and well infrastructure
it provide exposure , meeting like minded students which act as a motivator
many societies for all interest which promote extra curricular activities

Dislikes

classes are irregular , teachers are not punctual
faculty of all departments are not good , some are not cooperative
only degree is not enough hd to find internships and develop skills on our own

Course Curriculum Overview

the cuorse curriculum teaches about various accounting , business studies , human resource management , marketing , entrepreneurship and other commerce related fields . however doesnt really prepare for real world apllications . internships and digital subjects should also be included in the curriculum

Class Size: 40Course Fees: INR 14000 per year

Placement Experience

the placements are good , one gets an average package of 3-4LPA , however the skills and experience of a student matters more for their placement . there are not plans if one doesnt get placement from the college . a student should apply on other sites too

Fees and Financial Aid

there are financial aid available , it has a whole different procedure , i havent availed it . my fees in first year was 14k and for 2nd year it decreased approx 13k , so can say the minimum fees for the whole 3 year course is approx 40k. it differs from college to college of delhi university

Campus Life

the overall experience is good . the college has internship fairs which gives chance for students to get internships . the college isnt that stressful , one can focus on any other professional course they are pursuing side by side . the clubs are good and give great opportunities to excel in your interests /hobbies . one can explore themselves during their campus life

Admission

well delhi university is considered the best college for commerce as its known for its exposyre , extra curriculars and placement . one has to give cuet exam and the college depends on their. score . the top college for commerce is srcc, delhi university . one has to get 99-100 percentile to get in , however i wasnt able to achieve this uch so i got a college from top 20 colleges . i was also. offered admission in ahmedabad university , but the fees was too hig and its not as good as delhi university

Faculty

the faculty to student ratio is good , faculties are approachable , they are helpful regarding all issues . he assistant professors or junior proffesors are good in nature , their teaching is appreciable and very helpful but the older proffesors are more rude , strict , not that helpful and their teaching is not that good . 7 subjects exam is there in each semester . three of them are core subject . for program courses the level of exam is easy in comparison to hons courses . very few students fail the exam

Night Life

the pg timings are 10 or 11pm , there are many cafeteria , hanging spots , clubs , gym etc are there for night life of students . delhi has many spots that one can go to . in north and south campus there are famous hangout spots where all students hangout

supportive and approachable who explains concepts really well, like pallavi mam and shweta mam
good campus life like cafeteria area, library, and classrooms
active campus life with good opportunities to interact with other students

Dislikes

could get a bit crowded when both the shifts have classes

Placement Experience:

the whole reason i chose jims kalkaji is beacuse of placements it is popular for placements it offers multiple placements after your 3rd or 4th year of specializtion different multiple companies come here to pick students.

The faculty members are supportive, knowledeable. Teacher explain concepts clearly and encourage student to participate in discussion
I like friendly and comfortable campus environment. student from different background intreact with each other
The college provides a good acedemics foundation and opptunities for overall development. being Part of delhi university also give student exposure to different events

Dislikes

some classroom and campus facilitues need improvement
placement oppotunites can be improved, esecially for student looking for better corporate exposure.
the evening college schedule can something be inconveibient because many acitvity and oppotunities are generally more accessible during regular college hours

I would rate the course curriculum around 4 out of 5. The curriculum is well structured and covers important subject related to commerce, accounting, finance, economics and business. I chose this course because is provides a strong foundationfor higher studies, competetives exam and careers in the cmmerce field

Life at South Campus

Likes

The crowd at venky is great, diverse crowd.
The campus is well maintained and is one of the bests at DU.
Opportunities provided to students are great

Dislikes

The attendance policy is a little strict for 1st and 2nd year

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course provides a comprehensive image of finance and management, though after NEP, the curriculum seems a little irrelevent. The exams are conducted twice in a year, 2 sems per year, they conduct mid sem exams as well.

Shyam Lal College( Morning) Review

Likes

College is improving day by day teaching faculty is also helpful it recently got A++ NAAC credition as well
Overall college is good if you have good peer group.
Near to north campus so doesn't really feel much of headache if you want to visit regularly.

Dislikes

Shadara is not a good place to spend your college life.
Evening college crowd has made the reputation of the college bad.
Near by area is not safe for Girls in late hours.

Placement Experience:

6th sem is the first time college placement are proceeded . Companies are not impressive and mostly are entry level jobs such as cold calling and such which they offer. Highest package was 4 lpa and avg was 2.5 only. Around 60 percent students gets placed.

Likes

The online learning platform is easy ans simple to use students can acces lecture and assigments and study materials anytime
Faculty mambers provide clear guidance through online sessions and study materials they are supportive
They procides recording that was very usefull when we will not attend the live class

Dislikes

Since the classes are in online and also there are some techical issues while taking classes that will interupt classes
placement support is limited in online classes so students need to search for internships and job oppertunities on their own
Its deffecult to connect student coordinators while we wnat exam timetable etc they are too slow

I choose BCOM because the want to take ACCA after BCOM it will helps to improve my career and give a better job and also BCOM is the basices of ACCA like law, financial managment, taxation etc .The curriculam provide strong fountation for students who wamts to pursue higher studies such as M.COM , MBA and professuonal couses. BCOM helps to understanding real world bussiness practices , accounting sytem etc . on;ine study material recordimg leture and assigments also make flexible for students to study their own pace. exams are usually conducted semister wise the difficulty level 0of exam are moderate if students were attend the class regulary and prepare well

We have good infrastructure in our college

The course relevance I will rated as 9 out of 10 because I still find I need to explore more but overall all they have been very reachable.. its for students welfare and it increases the productivity.

i dont like any thing in this college

there is a green gaurden in my colleges old campus
we have a big ground in our college which i like i can play football there
they make an football ground in old campus which is good

Dislikes

techers are not good in teacing they just want to let it go the classes
my college was too small and the classes are not properly furnished for my class size
there is no place for sit in the shade or to make our mind diverted or have fun and the canteen is worst of old campus

i am from commerce background i want to do eco honers but in 12th i dont have mathematics so i cant then i decideid for b. com honers but i aloted the b.com program which is my 3rd priority umm i leanrd new things in my ncc and with my friends there are very less college activities to i dont know how to make my college life good and make some experiences they can make us travel with them to the real buiseness or any factory or a relay paper work from any company i want to do a camp in jab which is good for my ncc life but it is during my exams thats why i cant did that camp yet

i liked their faculty member and staff , they are played with students and taught as a friend
i liked canteen service and their foods it is hygienic but canteen infrastructure is not good
i liked their ground its have bollyball court basketball court badminton court and cricket ground also and they provide gym in college

Dislikes

i didn't like their campus because its not too much big
and college provide which lift service is not working properly
their bathroom is not too good and not too much hygienic

Course Curriculum Overview:

i choose bcom hons and all teacher are provide their 100% on their courses but neet to improve in practical exam because some computer not working and teacher teach students in one computer but there is no difficult paper according to time some time it's lengthy.
