- Teachers of some branches are really cool and helpfull
- They have a professional counceller ,she use to council every student about personal and professional lives
Dislikes
- Girls and boys ration is literally terrible as it is a engineering collage the ratio is 1:10.
- Companies are not that much attracted towards this collage
- Annual fests, tech fests are not happening here after taking this much amount of fees
Course Curriculum Overview
Curriculum is very good in term of subject and studies. But alin extra curriculum like sports dance music they dknt jave much resources. Specially for sports. Exams held in every 2 months. There is midsem 1 midsem2 midsem3 then a proficiency test then practical exams then endsem theory exams throughout the sem along with the assignments and mini skill based projects... But labs of core branch is too outdated. Lab attendents are also sooo lazy they dont even want students to experiment something new.
Internships Opportunities
There are three unpaid internships compulsary after every year done. You have to make a project in labs every semster for every core subject. You can do offline paid internships only in 4th year. Before 4th year you are not going to get the 'no objection certificate ' from the institute.
Fees and Financial Aid
So..fees per year is rs 164000and it is increasing as the collage is now deemed university . The breakdown of the fee structure is Tuition fees -32500 per sem registration fees-2500(only in 1st sem) development fees-25000 (only in sem 1) lab fees-around 2000 They dont give any scholorships other than govt scholorships For sc st category, tution fees is not included .other expences are there for them too
Campus Life
Campus life is not that kuch exciting. Crowd is okay okay not that much energetic and innovative. Library is huge you can issue books from there but library also have caste reservations for the books. This is little not fair. Saturday and sundays have some events like workshops, webinars,etc etc
Hostel Facilities
Hostels are good. 1st year hostel have occupancy of 4 then 1st onwardz occupancy of 2 .for every year of student there is a seperate hostel to be prevented from ragging. Mess food is okay okay. Fees of hostel is 50k per semester. But gwalior is cheap if you acommodate outside campus it will going to be more cheaper
Admission
See..this is a autonomous collaelge means it have govt seats..so you have to give jee mains examination and secure a decent rank to get a govt seat into it. Admission process is too long and tiring firslt councelling has done then 3-4 rounds of admissions then some spot rounds then classes start usually 1st sem is of 4 months only
Faculty
Profs are good enough. The syllabus of the collage in every dept is very up to dated like much updated than many top iits and nits. They use to teach core subjects right from 1st sem and every sem have a coding language compulsory for every tech and non tech branches. But somehow some faculty is not updated as per the syllabus
Night Life
Hostel have very strict timings like you have to be in the hostel before 7oclock. Gym is in girls hostel not in boys hostel. Hostel have tennis television and many indoor games .hostel campus is also huge in itself. Outside the collage the hangout place of almost every student is tealogy .they go and have coffee tee sandwichs. Basically no night life in the collage
