Remarks

This college's infrastructure has now been good enough but do not go by its looks. Instead, I would never recommend this college to anyone of my friends or juniors or anyone. Instead, they can go ahead and join any other college instead of this one.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The course is good but the faculty in the college who teaches this course is not at all good. They do not care about their students, only college reputation is all they care about. So we did not have a lot of attention. Its good for a time pass kind of boy.

Internships Opportunities

No, there is no internship. No stipend. Nothing in this college. In my course not even one company comes and visits the campus for the placement interview instead only one company I.e. Syntel had said the college to send the students to the company itself. They did not even visit the campus.

Placement Experience

0.5

While taking admission in this college, they'll tell you that you'll get placements through the college and many companies but these are all lies. No company visits the campus for the placement interview regarding (BSc Computer Science). And there are no job opportunities by studying through this college.

College Events

1.5

There are number of events celebrated in this college. Like Chispa, Every Friday mass, Halloween, etc. If you want you can participate in these events otherwise sit home and study. They'll even give the participation certificate of the event that you participate in.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee according to the infrastructure and study point of view is bit expensive. The fees for the first year is around Rs.40,000 which can be paid in 4 installments. The fees for the second & third year is around Rs.37,000 which can again be paid in 4 installments. If delayed, will be fined of Rs. 200 additionally.

Fees and Financial Aid

There was loan facility available but I do not have any idea about it much though. But the college provided some scholarship for the meritorious students through the university. And to the lower caste too, that also through the university itself. The college themselves dis not provide any scholarship.

Campus Life

4

The computer lab was well and good with well conditioned and good working computers. The library was a bit small but good enough containing all the necessary books required. There was football as an activity in the college. And the college canteen is also good enough but a bit expensive.

Hostel Facilities

0.5

I had my house nearby so I don't know much about the infrastructure of the hostel, and the quality & standard of the hostel facility of the college. But I heard a bit of negative reviews on that too. So I would not recommend on getting into the college hostel. Instead find a PG.

Alumni/Alumna

The alumni network was not at all good. The staff working were always rude while talking. They never used to answer to any of our questions politely. They always had a dull face with a rude and arrogant attitude.

Exam Structure

The exam structure of the college is that the first year is internal I.e. they'll give marks through their college itself and its an annual pattern. But in the second & third year, the exams are held semi annually.

Admission

I got my admission in this college through giving a personal interview (PI) with Principal and HOD of the college staff. They were easy enough. Then I just paid the fees and got into the college without any further obstructions.

Faculty

2

The faculty of the college is not at all good. They give internal marks which is not an issue but in teaching perspective, the college is not at all good. All they do is leave the student to understand the subject by himself/herself.

Course Curriculum Overview:

There wasn't really any. It was mostly the friendliness of the profs that pulled me into maths. Do note that in IISc, the first three semesters are common and you pick majors after that. The maths curriculum prepares you for a future in either industry or academia. Moreover, one can take courses in other departments to help their industry pursuits. Only way would be to make some courses more interactive, but this hasn't been a problem for me personally. Most high level courses have two exams. Sometimes not even that. And exams generally aren't difficult for someone who has kept up with the course.

Placement Experience:

from 6th semister onwards students are eligible for pkacements. I dont know about the companies of placements as iam a fresher here. The placements here are really good in this course. After Msc forensic science the annual package in an average here is 2-5 lakhs. Almost 80% of forensic students get placement here. As iam pursuing my bachelors here, iam thinking of writing the entrance exam for NFSU gujarath for my Masters.

Placement Experience:

Our university has a training and placement office for the fourth and fifth year students. Before that you need to find internship opportunities yourself. The significant companies include EY, MoSpi, RBI, NSE etc. The is around 50% placements. The highest package was around 40 lakhs and the lowest 5 lakhs. I plan on working in the RBI after my degree.
