Course Curriculum Overview

5

The course curriculum for my course is structured very perfectly as far as iam concerned. Since my course is civil engineering, the curriculum in other colleges is out dated. Every single subject related to my course is subjected to computer based teaching which makes it reliable for future job opportunities.

Fees and Financial Aid

The yearly fees for my course(Civil Engineering)depends upon the slab which is determined by the entrance exam result I have acquired. I got slab 3 which means I got to pay 2,00,000 As the slab goes down the fees also gets decreased by 50,000. If a student gets slab 1 through his entrance exam marks and aquire a cgpa less than 7.5 then the yearly fees will be increased by 25,000.

Campus Life

5

Campus life in my college is entirely based on student's mindset. Since you can't go out that much , you will have to mostly explore your college time inside the campus of your college. But fortunately your time will be occupied with assignments, weekly tests, lab practicals etc. There are several clubs you can join for example clubs based on sports , regarding social experiments like interviewing people going through poverty, visiting old age homes so you can see what others are going through making your problems very small compared to theirs .

Admission

What stands out about my college from other colleges is the international connection and companies coming for placements to my college. And since our age is in the brim of distractions , this college puts their full effort for us not to fall in any habits that is injurious physically and mentally. I have only opted for dtu delhi( Chemical Engineering) other than this college . I was an nri student and had a privilege of the DASA quota , still I had a shortage on my jee score failing to join dtu. Admission process for my college is based on 4 modes-Through entrance exam, Management quota, jee and nri. If you go through management quota process, you can directly buy your seat for whatever course you want.

Faculty

5

The faculty members actually depends upon your luck. Since iam in my semester so far I haven't experienced any unfair means of approach from my faculty members. The marking scheme for my course is 60 marks internals( 30 mark for midsem and 30 marks for assignments and practicals) and 40 marks for end sem. Mid sem exams usually occurs after 1 month of course when the sem starts and the end sem starts after 2 months of the end sem ends

Night Life

5

Nightlife in my college is pretty good I can say but not as good as in day time as you can't witness the mountains and the beautiful , astonishing different skies especially at around 4 pm. Playing football at night is the best experience I can say with your friends. Also the walks at night can refresh your mind since the whether is always warm and cool since we are surrounded by mountains

The curriculum is relevant and provides a good balance of theoretical knowledge and practical learning. It prepares students for real-world applications, but more industry projects, practical sessions, and updated teaching methods would help. Exams are generally well-spaced and moderately difficult.
