Course Curriculum Overview

4

The curriculum is relevant but needs updates. It covers theory well but lacks real-world applications. Exams are frequent, moderately difficult. Improvements needed in practical exposure, industry alignment, and interactive teaching methods for better comprehension.

Internships Opportunities

4

Chemical engineering internships are offered by companies like Reliance, IOCL, BPCL, and L&T, with roles in process design, R&D, and safety management. Stipends range from ?10,000-?50,000. Projects include reactor optimization, wastewater treatment, and catalyst development, providing hands-on industry experience and enhancing technical skills for future career growth.

Placement Experience

4

Placements begin in the 7th semester. Top recruiters include TCS, Infosys, and Wipro, with the highest package around ?15 LPA and an average of ?5 LPA. Around 80% secure jobs. Roles vary from software to core engineering. I plan to gain experience before pursuing higher studies or entrepreneurship.

Fees and Financial Aid

There are three slab basically all the slabs are based on the merits and first slab is 100000, send it increases by 65000 increment next 200000 non scholarship is for 240000, by jee percentile also we can enter in merit

Campus Life

4

Campus life is vibrant with fests like TechFest (october )and Cultural Fest (November). The library offers vast books and journals. Smart classrooms enhance learning. Sports, clubs, and societies like coding, robotics, and drama enrich student life. Active student portals help networking, fostering both academic and extracurricular growth.

Hostel Facilities

4

In a room two tables 4 chairs 4 lockers are provided.meal in the starting it was okay but day by day it merged.registration process will be provided in the college portal .in near the college they are many PG I think in ettimadai.

Admission

I chose this college for its faculty, infrastructure, and placements. Applied to others but faced high cutoffs. Admission required eligibility criteria, entrance exams like JEE/CET, and a competitive selection process. Overall, the experience was challenging yet rewarding.

Faculty

4

The number of exams varies by course; difficulty depends on preparation. Failure rates and curriculum relevance differ across institutions and subjects yes curriculum is prity good and going in a consistent way

Night Life

4

Nightlife is limited due to campus curfew (hostel entry by 9:00pm). cafeterias, and libraries close by 10PM. Popular hangouts include the campus cafe, nearby street food joints, and malls. The locality is safe, with students enjoying late-night walks, study sessions, and occasional city outings.

The highest, lowest and the average package here is 60 LPA, 4 LPA, and 6 LPA respectively. The average percentage of students placed here is 95.

Students become eligible for placement from the third semester. Many students have obtained good packages in companies like Bosch, Infosys, etc. Many companies visit the college, and a number of offers are made. My course has a 86% placement record, which is quite good. I plan to go for placements but will only accept the package if its above 10 lpa. Else, I plan on going for higher studies.
