It is a government college , the fee structure of this college is low which helped me to join this College in my first view . The college comes under MAKAUT the curriculum of the study is structured and well planned

Internship are also given to student , and college helps their students to know about the internship and motivate them to participate in the intership . The companies which provide intership is SIEMENS , etc ...

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure for core branches such as Electrical, mechanical , and civil engineering is 6000 per year and for computer science engineering and electronics and communication engineering is 12000 per year .

Campus Life

The campus life is not soo good but it is okay . Fest are commduv6 every gear in tbe month of April. In the library books as well as journals are present which helps student in their preparation journey.

Admission

I choose this college over the other college because it is a government college with a low fees . The admission process for the college is the students need to qualify the state exam WBJEE and score a good rank to get admission in the college .

Faculty

The faculties of the college is highly qualified and helps students to focus on knowledge . In the college semester exams are conducted and also a kind of revision test is also conducted by the teachers .

Night Life

Yes hostels are present in the college. Hostels for boys and girls are different . Canteen are present inside the campus where students used ti spend their time . Library are aslo present in the college .

Placement Experience:

The college average placement are 6 lakh per annum and in my branch out of 64 student only 30 God placement but the mistake is of the students because many companies are visiting our colleges but they couldn't find the talent required for the skilled person they required

Placement Experience:

Well as far as mh knowledge students get to placements from 6th semester itself . Well there are placement classes from 3rd semester itself . The placement track record of the college is quite good with most year about 90% gets placed with good companies comming like Deloitte, EY GDS , JP MORGAN, Oracle , offering high amount of placement offers like around 20+ lpa . Well I am not sure about my plans maybe if the palacement is good I'll take it or will be preparing for GATE (Whose courses are also provided from college .)

GOOD College at low fees.

Placement Experience:

Placement of my college are quite good with a avg package of 6 to 7 lpa and higest package of 45 lpa and this year the higest package is 75 lpa. The companies visited in my college are infosys, Capgemini,tcs,wipro, Mindtree,IBM, sometimes amazon also.The placement rate of the college is 85 to 95%.

Placement Experience:

1)From 6th semester students become eligible for campus placement. 2) Cognizant , TCS(most fav), Wipro, startups, IBM visit for recruitment . 3)In 2023 highest was 45lpa by amazon average is 4.5lpa. 4)From our Hostel each and every senior get placed. some with good package like tcs digital, even off campus (2025). 5)My plan is to take a job and enter in IT firm to learn and teach new technolgies through my YOUTUBE.

The college is good for academics but there is no campus life.

Placement Experience:

The placements are average in the college. From 7th semester the students are eligible for placements. About 60% students get placed in the college. The average package of our college is 3-4 lakhs per annum and the highest package last year was around 13 lakhs per annum. I will choose to do M.tech after passing out of the college.

I applied in in the Government engineering colleges only and I cut conferred admission in this college. I choose this college over the others because I got the confirm admission in it. And if I tell about the admission process of this college, then I have to say this is a Government engineering College which is affiliated to AICTE and students can take admission through WBJEE counseling only and for these students have to qualify the wbt exam and have to secure a particular rank to get admission...Read More

A brief overview of RKMGEC

The main reason students come to this college is because of the fact that fees are affordable and also this is purely government college. Admission process is quite easy you need all the necessary documents (Aadhar, Pan, etc) along with your WBJEE scorecard and rankcard. Other important fact to mention is that only students who are permanent resident of West Bengal can seek for admission. You need a domicile certificate for that....Read More

I applied for many other colleges like Jadavpur university, IEM but wasn't able to make ther with my rank and financial instability. I opted for RKMGEC because it offered a compeling mix of quality education,easy faculty and lowe tuition fees. The eligibility was based on west bengal joint entrance examination (WBJEE) scores with specific cutoffs which vary every year. I face rejection from a couple of other top tier colleges primarily due to high competition and slightly lower intense exams scores.
