Course Curriculum Overview

3

I personally find the curicilumn not good. Why do i have to do chemistry and physics whdn im doing computer science as my major ? I feel like focusing on things thay actually the market wants will ve the best.

Internships Opportunities

4

There are many business in incubation here in Vit, do we can get internships from them. Other than that, we do not have access to internships from other companies from the college. But with the experience we can apply to them ourselves.

Placement Experience

4

We do have placements, we have about 40k student here. Thos year about 10k offers were received from companies. Two people got a salary of 1 crore per annum. So if solely depens on the particular student.

Fees and Financial Aid

There are 5 categories of fees according to rank in the VITEEE exam. I got in the second category. The first category starts with 100000 and the last category has 500000 as the fee. The hostel fee depens on the type of room selected and the rype of mess selected.

Campus Life

5

I personalky find this very good. There is a wide range of clubs and space for everyone to shine in them. The seniors are wonderful and we have a no ragging policy which makes things even better. We have two cultural events every year too.

Hostel Facilities

4

Hostels are okay, the fee structure is a bit wierd. The fact that we have to compulsively choose a mess is stupid because ita not worth it. You can always change roomsbif your roommates are bad, so thats nice.

Admission

I personally am native to tamil nadu and have my residence in bangalore, so i foujd this better than north indian colleges. As for colleges in tamil nadu, we have srm and nothing else. Vit is way better than srm, atleast there is a bit of decorum and discipline here.

Faculty

3

There are three ecams per semester. They are quite difficutl to clear. Other than that there aee quizes and assignments which are relativly easy to score. If you get the right faculty, you can easily crack the exams.

Interview Experience

4

No we did not have any interviews, but we had to write an exam called VITEEE, which has basic maths, chemistry physics english and aptitude questions. The exam was easy but that makes ghe competetions more.

Night Life

4

Library is open till 12. Other than that we can request fir night slips to either work with our club or work for any upcoming event from 8 till 1 am. But all shops are closed after 8. So we do not access to supplies after that.

The curriculum is relevant and provides a good balance of theoretical knowledge and practical learning. It prepares students for real-world applications, but more industry projects, practical sessions, and updated teaching methods would help. Exams are generally well-spaced and moderately difficult.

Placement Experience:

Placements are generally decent, with students becoming eligible from the final year. Several companies visit for recruitment, offering roles in technical and non-technical fields. Packages vary by company, and placement opportunities depend on skills and performance. Many students secure jobs, while others pursue higher studies or competitive exams.
