Remarks

There is nothing as such bad about the college. The best thing about the college is the available opportunity to take college to great heights. College managementcis also good and there is no restriction for trying and doing new things.

Entrance Preview

JAT DU for BMS. After entrace once shortlisted the procedure is followed by interview and group discussion. I secured rank 225. The future aspects of the course made me choose the course.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course is very practical and the exposure is great. The course comprises of studying through case studies.

Internships Opportunities

Yes, the placement cell updates us about various internship opportunities. The students regulalry do summer and winter internships.

Placement Experience

The placement record is excellent. Companies like AT KEARNEY, CAPITAL IQ, MCKINSEY, BLUE GAPE etc. are regular visitors and avg. package in 5.5 lacs p.a.Every year the collge welcomes new companies and we observe 100% placement record.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Being a Delhi University college the fees is very much feasible. The rates in canteen are too very less.

Not yet, Actually i have yet tried to look for scholarships in the college.

Campus Life

The college have great exposure towards the extra cocurricular activities. There are various societies be it debsoc, poetry,dance, dramatics, music, arts etc. Within the BMS dept. itself there are various cells be it marketing, finance, hr, web development, placement etc.

Alumni/Alumna

The college alumni is very helpful and cooperative. All seniors are full of enthuaiasm and always keep updating us about the available opportunities. They always keep encouraging us to take new activities and undertake various challenging tasks ourselves only. One thing i will remember always. I was once talking to my senior about placements in college he told me that one should always remember that placements are always personality driven. No will ever think about your specialisation i.e. marketing, finance or HR

The college faculty is great and have great knowledge.There is very relaxed atmosphere in the college.

College provided good exposure to the real life world.
It provided numerous society opportunities where we could learn more about different things except bookish knowledge.
Inter college exposure was provided which helped in numerous networking opportunities.

Dislikes

The infrastructure was very poor and old.
No support by the college for leaves for internship opportunities.
Poor teacher student bonding in the college.

The course curriculum is somewhere releveant to the course. It gives overall information regarding the different aspects of the course. Exams happen twice a year on semester basis and are easy to moderate level in terms of difficulty.

The opportunites in the campus .

Likes

I liked my College faculty especially my course faculty that is they are so helpful both in academics and your life decisions and they provide a personal mentoring for your every question about the career and future goals .
Our college environment is also good as our college infrastructure is not that big but the overall zones like lawn area , canteen , playground , library , washrooms are always clean , and the departmental area they are the good ones .
I like my college societies so much , as a part of music society in my college it is so helpful for me to end my full day stress by spending time in the society , our college Annual fests are also the best one among most of the reputed colleges .

Dislikes

I dont like the infrastructure of our college that much because it is not perfect as per my observations , there are many things to be enhanced ,
Placements of our college is not enough as per our expectations .
Student leaders or activist who becomes aa voice of the students are not honest and helpful.

Placement Experience:

Placements from my college is not as i expected but they provide good internships opportunity according to your skills and The average placement package of my college is 6 lakh and highest one is 12 lakh , my plan is to persue MBA after completing my graduation .

Likes

I would say I liked the classes like they have a lot of space
The college is fully AIR - CONDITIONED which is very nice
Has 3 canteen that has good food and place to sit while eating

Dislikes

Does not have a proper ground for playing

All the things which are in my curriculum are relevent and comprehensive as the college give us the topics that are going to come in our exams which really helps kepping the load down from the students as they might not study if the syllabus is more and more

the faculty members are supportive, knowledgeable, and explain concepts clearly. they are approachable and helpful during exams and projects.

Campus life is so good, they plan trip every year
I loved the teaching method, the seminars that were conducted were very helpful
Pranav sir, nishant sir, ashish sir they are very supportive and nice. D

Dislikes

There is no ground but they do take you to cricket grounds and tounament is conducted every semester so you can join the cricket team and they will take you there, even for badminton and other sports too

Placement Experience:

Placement are very good. Even like after four semester, you get the opportunity to do internship and almost tap this get placed and according to the calibre, 10,000 50,000 15,000 if I talk about myself, I got an internship at Hero wide of 20,000 so and after that, also, I got the placement in the same company when they came for the place along with three swim. We also placed in the same and next year when I sit in the next place, they help me in getting a job Italian's partner or what else can be better than this that they treat their student as a family. Even after when you're passing out, you don't feel like You are left out or you can't go again, so this is a thing which is really great about our college.

Likes

Gives you kind of exposure which everyone needs.
Opens a lot of opportunities for students and helps them to grow.
Faculty is something which is the best thing about college as all the teachers and support staff are very supportive and experienced and they help students in getting that industry knowledge.

Dislikes

The only thing I dislike that infrastructure is not developed and there are lot of faults .

Placement Experience:

The students in our college start looking for internships active from semester 1 but they are allowed to sit for placements after 2nd year. Mnay big companies come in our college for placements and many offers are made highest was 16 lakhs this year from BMS and average package is around 5-8 lakhs pa. Well my plans after the degree is to give cat and get admission in a good iim

Likes

Societies are active, there is a lot of scope for extra curricular activities in college
The faculty is helpful in terms of academics.
Fellow students are engaging and willing to guide you.

Dislikes

Administration doesn’t follow through with plans
Classrooms and canteen have obsolete seating.
Placements could be better although they’re alright.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placement from the 5th semester onwards. Many companies came and the highest placement was 23 LPA last time. Some courses get less placement than others but overall the opportunities are alright.

yes, i have applied for other colleges who teach BMS. Sukhdev college of business studies was my first priority and sadly i couldnt make it into SSCBS as its is NO1 college of India to study BMS and its cutoff is always high as compared to other colleges . to get Admission in these colleges of DU you have to give CUET and then you get admission on your score . for courses like BMS you have to score good In general test and maths as these subjects are considered while Admission . what mistake i did that i could not able to get my dream college is that i did not prepare well . you have to understand that if your goals are bigger you also have to work hard ....Read More

I have amazing experience with this college.

There is no any fixed confirmation to get admission in this college . I got this college randomly and I appied for computer science stream in the other colleges like St. Stephen ,Kirori mal college, Atma Ram Sanatan Dharm college and other than delhi universities such as Banaras Hindu Universities (BHU) . 3 years of figuring it out at KMV

I applied for Symbiosis Pune, Christ Banglore, NMIMS Mumbai, IIM ROHTAK AND INDORE, I got admission in all except IIM, and also got in Keshav Mahavidyalaya after giving cuet, discussed which should i go for from many mentors and everyone adviced for KMV. Comparing to other colleges the fees here i very very less as all other are private colleges, but the services provided there are according to the fees and so is the crowd. Well I scored 350/450 in IIM Rohtak exam and what went wrong was the paper came way too easy due to which cutoff went 409 compared to 330 last year. I could have got any south campus college and even some of the north but I chose KMV because it was on second position for BMS. Cutoff for BMS in KMV was around 515/650 after giving cuet....Read More
