Course Curriculum Overview

The fee structure and evironment of the university that influenced to choose m.com course. Throgh the internships and dissertation they connect real world applications and we get experience in the area we choose in internship.

Class Size: 31Course Fees: INR 25000 per year

Internships Opportunities

I work in a Insurance company and the role in that company is to aware the people about health insurance and life insurance. Why life and health insurance is important? There is 1 month internship in the m.com 2nd sem.

Placement Experience

Graduation and post graduation students are eligible for campus placements. SBI bank, HDFC bank and we win ltd and so on. There highest package is ?50000 and average is ?30000 as per company. There are 60 to 70% students placed by university.

Fees and Financial Aid

The yearly fees for M.COM is 25000. And the admission fee is 600 rupee. The scholarship is provided by the university is 12000 per year. M.com is 2 year course and the total fee is ?50000. And total scholarship provided by university is ?24000. There is good and friendly environment of university. And teachers are also good.

Campus Life

University conducted every year annual functions and cultural programs and sports programs. And books and journals of the subjects are available in the library. Sports activities held by the university for the physical development of the students. There is students portal for the students.

Admission

There are many colleges where i apply but in this college i got confirmed admission and this college is near to my loacation and the fee structure is good according to other colleges. The eligibility for m.com course is graduation and cuet entrance exam is preferred for the admission in this university.

Faculty

The faculty to student relationship is good and the behaviour of faculty is also good the commerce faculty is good because they solve the problems related to commerce students. Exam is conducted on semester basis there is 2 exams in a year and practical and viva. Exam is moderate level and there is only 2 or 3 students who fail to clear the exam.

Interview Experience

There is no group discussion for the admission but we have to give entrance exam for the admission and after that counseling and verification of the documents. I preapre for entrance exam from the cuet entrance book.

Night Life

There are many cafeterias in the university and library in the university. Hostel facility is also available. My favourite place in the campus area is nothing because i directly go to home after ending the classes.

My Post Graduation Journey

The main reason of choosing this college was it is onw of the best college in kanpur. The teachers are well equipped and experienced in thier respective subjects.
I was not so much engaged in social activites but sometimes i participate in debates, quizzes etc.
The faculties are PhD holders and has great expertise in their respective subjects. They will guide you at any time anywhere. You can share your personal problems also, they will help you out. Guide and mentor you in your career also.

Dislikes

One thing that i dont like was the behavior of some professor. They are lazy, they dont want to come to class. They will just say it Oh, you can do it as you are good enough and in 2 to 3 years you will be sitting with me.
Sometimes i feel like lack of regular classes i am loosing interest on accounts and Auditing
Lack of regularity, punctuality and discipline affects me a lot. That's why i don't like it.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The main reason of choosing to do M.Com was i always wanted to complete my post graduation and after post graduation i want to prepare for ugc net, jrf to pursue PhD. The curriculum of this course helps me alot like it helps me to understand banking terms, norms, rules and regulations. Now i am capable enough to do business also, invest in share markets, financial securities etc. So it connects me from business, banking , and real markets . The main area where improvement is needed according to me is their teaching methods. If You are giving a real world example that's good but you have to teach its impacts , pros and cons also . Teachings styles should be changed according to me. The duration for completing exams is 3 hours and it is sufficient according to me. You can complete whole paper if you know everything. And the level of exams is also moderate.

A commercian life In BHU

The best thing about this university was it's culture and it's environment for which I choosed the university.
The greenery circumstances where you will feel the calmness.
There is a placement facility in my faculty of commerce but in others faculty there is nothing so.

Dislikes

There should be proper process of professor recruitment.
In my faculty, the level of education is not satisfactory. But 75℅ attendance is mandatory.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Basically I have decided to persue m. Com and trying to choose best university for it. I chooses this university because it was in top 5 rank of NIRF. To be honest some professors really work hard to train us to deal with real world but some also do their duty just because they have to draw salary. There should be a regular class otherwise they should inform before. The exam get conducted once is December or january and second is conducted in may.

I WANTED TO CONTINUE PHD SO I OPT THIS .AND THE COURSE WAS HAVING THE SAME SUBJECTS AS THE MBA COURSE HAD . THE CURRICULUM DOES PREPAPRE US WELL . THEY GIVE US VARIOUS TASK LIKE PRESENTATION ,ROLE PLAY , PPT ETC. THAT ENHANCE OUR UNDERSTANDING OF THE CURRICULUM AND THERE IS 24*7 GUIDANCE . TEACHING METHOD DOES VARRIES FROM PROFESSOR TO PROFESSOR AND THAT IS WORTHY FOR THE STUDENT ,COURSE CURRICULUM DOES SOMETIMES FEEL VAST . THE EXAM FREQUENCY AND DIFFICULTY IS FAIR

Keeping the cost structure and ease of finding a college, I believe that my college is appropriate for students of two types. One, who want to pursue a correspondence course besides doing other professional course somewhere else. Others, who want to gain knowledge and experience of the faculty.

The addmission process is very simple, you need to give JEE mains examination and then you need to participate in UPTAC counselling.
