Likes

i liked the infrastructure of the college, Canteen where i used to eat regularly and friendly staff. There was no strict dress code we can wear anything that we want to.
It was a beautiful green campus and also famous college in bengaluru . there was a big cricket ground it was very huge and beautiful
good library with plenty of books and more

Dislikes

there was no tech friendly teaching, never used smart teaching
placement process was very slow and uncertain
labs lacked proper equipment for practice

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculam was well structured and covered core concepts but, some outdated topics needed updates. While theory was strong , practical was limited. Industry relevance could be improved for better career.

Fees and Financial Aid

i got engineering seat throungh kcet.approximately 100000-rs i have pain for every year for 4 years.Tution fees,registrstion and admission ,lab ,exam fees was around 35000. i belong to general categoery so i didnt recieve any scholarship facility. There are some scholarship available for sc/st category like National scholarship portal and state scholarship portal

Campus Life

Campus life was lively wirh fests like technova in march, colloseum in june,and the library had good books but few journals. Classroom lackes tech upgrades. Sports clubs and event made life little fun.

Admission

I chose my college for its decent reputaion , location and fees compared to other colleges out there. lan and infrastructure were decent but not the best.Admission process was straight forward and easy

Faculty

The faculty members were knowledgeable and supportive, though some lacked iindustry exposure. The course structure was well organized but it was completely theory . Internal marks was based on assignments and tests , while external determined final grade.

Night Life

Night life was limited as the campus closed early. and im a day scholar. Campus entry closed by 10Pm. Popular spots were canteen, Parking, nearby Cafes, nearby Mall. the locality was safe but less active

A great place for learning and career growth

Placement Experience:

Excellent placement training and reputed companies visit the campus. I had received offers from three companies which reflects the quality of opportunities available. Placement is one of the college's biggest strength. Student with no backlog and good academic records will get easily placed.

My life at CMR - University

Course Curriculum Overview:

The aspects like: we had 2 internal exams in the semester and after completing these internal exams roughly at the 5th month we had practical exam + end semester exams, these exams would be mainly theory based inclusing some conceptual based questions & based on our understanding only, we can able to write the answers. One thing, I would suggest was we shall give more weightage to the practical based learning, that too during our days we were just the beginning of AI & Iot era was effectively going on, if we had some advanced eductaion covering these aspects we would have got the opportunity to shine more in our carrers. As a student, we faced slight diffuclities and challenges matching the real-life happenings with the acdemics, that would be one of the shortcoming I can say.

My campus life so far

Course Curriculum Overview:

I feel the curriculum is well planned, balanced and easy to follow. We start with the basics and along with theory there's a good amount of coding practice, assignments, and hands on learning. I like that the course isn't just about passing exams, it also focuses on building skills that will be useful later for internships and placements. So far it feels relevant, practical and not overwhelming for someone who's just starting out.

In our college placement training will be started from first semester only ..by 5th or 6th semester we can attend the campus selection So many companies are visited namely Infosys, wipro, accenture etc 12lahk will be highest i think also i dont know exactly and average will be 3.5lakh per year 70% of the students get placed by full filling the interviewers needs Im preparing for the civil services

One of the best colleges or universities for B Tech and pocket friendly

Placement Experience:

The College was there for more than 10 years , but there was only Post graduate courses available , like M-tech , Msc , etc. The College for B-tech has started just before 2 years , there are no batches which has been output till now. The students are also waiting to see the batches to get output and see the placements taking place. As a student I am also eager about the campus placements.
