Faculty

Guru Jambeshwar has a lot of faculty member .The ratio of faculty to student is about 30:1 . Good campus with a lot of greenery and a peaceful environment for students.
Teachers are mostly supportive and actical classes are helpful for understanding the subjects.

Sometimes the workload and attendance requirements feel a little stressful for students.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I feel the course curriculum is quite relevant and covers the important basics of Biotechnology. We get both theory and practical classes which helps in understanding the subjects better. Exams are usually moderate. I think more industry based projects and practical exposure can make the course even better. Overall, I am satisfied with the curriculum.

Best affordable quality college for middle-class

Likes

Good and well-spaced campus of the college.
Good placements with high salary packages at reputed companies.
Good, affordable college for engineering, suitable for middle-class students.

Dislikes

Poor WiFi connection at times, when too many people use WiFi at the same time.
Generator works till 11pm only at normal days.
Hostel food needs improvement, lack of quality chefs.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements after 6th semester. Numerous reputed companies offer placements, to name a few, these are HCL, Tata Consultancy Services(TCS), Wipro, Infosys, L & T, JCB, airtel, JIO, etc. The highest package to date is 27 lakhs per annum and the average package is about 6 lakhs per annum. About more than 85% of students get placed in good companies with a satisfactory package, however, good skills are required for a much higher package. I'll work hard to get a good package at a reputed company.

You have to apply through HSTES official counselling website, the fees is Rs. 500 and the application starting and ending dates vary every year. So it is suggested to keep checking the applicaion dates. Also the admission is taken through university level counselling on their offical website; which takes place after the HSTES counselling.
