Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum of AEC almost cover 60% syllabus for GATE. They cover 60% syllabus for the recruitment for TCS/Wipro placements. To pass in examination solve previous 5 year questions of MAKAUT. Supplement with online certifications to fill curriculum gaps.
Internships Opportunities
A company named NOMURA has provided a internship opportunity which will turn into job opportunity after successful completion of the internship period. And overall internship experience was pathetic and was not up to the mark. But we can't help it. As we know it is a 3 tier college.
Placement Experience
From 7th semester semester students become eligible for campus placements. But sometimes companies start coming from at the end of the 6th semester. The average package our college provide is about 450000. Our college has tie up with more 350 companies for campus drives. Sometimes we also go for pool campusing at other Techno tied up colleges.
Fees and Financial Aid
The yearly fees ranges from 115000 to 120000.But for the very first year they took 140000 in which tuition fees was almost about 100000, 10000 was caution deposit ,5000 was admission fees , registration fess was 500 , devepment fees was 14000 and 11500 was lab fees and other compulsory miscellaneous charges during the semester. In each semester we pwy 1200 as exam fees to our university. Thereafter they take 115000 to 120000 alonwith 2400 exam fees.For the students who belong to West Bengal get Swami Vivekanand Merit Cum Means Scholarship which is about 50000 every year.There is also provisions for Scholarship for OBC students named OASIS.SC/ST students also get scholarship.But there is no provision for of scholarship for student who does not belong to West Bengal.Some of batchmates have aplied for TFW quota and their fees is 14000 per year.
Campus Life
Campus life is not up to the mark . Fewer fests and other cultural events as compared to other Kolkata colleges. The range of accessibility to the books and journal are moderately limited. Classrooms are fully equipped.
Admission
I have applied for few other colleges . Also I got selected but the fees structure was comaparatively higher as compared to Asansol Engineering College. Also the rate of items we use for our daily needs is also cheaper as compared to other cities.
Faculty
The student to teacher ratio is 1 : 25 . And student to HOD ratio is 1:50. Relationship is friendly but formal. The names of the faculties I liked the most are Mrs Joyshree Maji ma'am and Mrs Mithu ma'am. They are very cooperative and always ready to help. There are 4 internal assesments alongwith 2 practical assesments and a Semester exam at the last of the semester.
Night Life
We have a gym with a single gym instructor which is not suffient for all. Hostel and campus timing : Student can go outside between 5:00AM to 7:00PM. There is no famous places to hangout in the college. The canteen is no more less than a garbage bin. They needs to update themselves and their recipes.
Other Applied Colleges

Fees was comparatively higher and placement ratio was also same. Although Asansol city cost effective and budget friendly living environment.
