Course Curriculum Overview

5

The curriculum allows you to choose what you want to do , my course is a hybrid course so i can really go into software or core or electronics side or any side tbh and the curriculum aids us in doing that better than other curriculum of other courses , i would say this is the most flexible curriculum out of all courses in my college Frequency of exams isnt that much we have two tests for 20 marks who happen in mid semester and at the end of sem there is end sem exam for 50 and assignment for 10 marks respectively Improvements is adding more interesting topics beacuse the curriculum is more theoretical and practical part is a but boring they could add more interesting things

Hostel Facilities

4

The room is spacious enough in my hostel for three members they provide routers inside the room and plugs and two fans and three beds, tables and chairs and two lights Food quality is good or average , the mess alloted to us is good ,they provide lots of side dishes and complimentary dishes incase you dont want main one , chapatis are given daily. Overall menu is also diverse and good Registration process for hostel and mess happens during physical reporting after all the councelling ends and your seat is confirmed. This process is not stressful at all and its easy , you can even ask for same room as your friend

Admission

I didnt score well in jee advanced due to distractions, so my iit dreams was gone. However i score enough in jee mains to get into the top nit i.e nit trichy which is also closer to my home than other nits and the course was also good , so i choose this college as it was the best option i had Admission is through josaa or csab or dasa counselling and unless you are pwd or foreign candidate you should score atleast around 98.6 or 98.7 as gen/obc candidate to get any seat in nit trichy Im an obc candidate, my obc rank is 3184 My course obc ncl opening rank is 3064 and closing rank is around 4.1k so i got the seat Admission experience is tedious with all the documents that i have to fill and arrange and upload and it's stressful sometimes and i have come past it now

Faculty

4

Student faculty ratio is 65-1 but the eta hers can be approached for doubts easily if you want to and there are a lot of assistant professors who can clear your doubts as well Every faculty are good in their own thing , the only thing they might lack in slightly is in their communication as for some of the faculty their english is little bit not excellent I dont hate any faculty There is two class tests , one assignment, one end sem exam and all these count for the total gpa at the end of each sem. Not many fail in these exams mostly everyone passes but sometimes the papers are tough and the amount who fail increases

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because it covers important subjects related to computer science, programming, databases, networking, and emerging technologies. The combination of theoretical knowledge and practical subjects influenced my decision to choose this course. The curriculum provides a good foundation in technical concepts and programming. However, more practical projects, industry-based training, internships, and real-world applications would help students become better prepared for careers and further studies.
