The placement in corporate world is a big issue for the college because there are very less agriculture based companies but the government jobs somehow overcome this issue. Other major issue is that the college is not digitalised . Most of the works are done manually like registration .

The course is unique and quite easy. After graduation there are a plenty of job opportunities in government sector . It follows a semester system . 3 exams in a semester i.e. hourly exams midsemester exams and final exams

The placement in private companies are very less. Most of them are in tractor companies. Other than that government job opportunities are very high. One can easily get a government job once he or she is graduated in the stream

Fee structure is quite fair here provided level of education , campus, job opportunities after graduation . So it is quite feasible . Other than that this college also provide various scholarship to needy students based on family income and their academic records

There are a number of scholarships offered. 1.nts by Icar - this is offered to students admitted through Icar exam only . 2. Aid fund - this is for economically weak students 3- half fee concession- for financially weak and academically good students

There are a lot of extracurricular activities like theatre folk dance and singing competition . Labs are well equipped with modern amenities There are grounds and courts for almost all the major sports like cricket volleyball handball basketball atheltic badminton etc.

Hostels are similar to other government colleges . Old buildings , not so well painted walls but other facilities are good which include reading room common room volleyball court etc. Also the fee charged is very less

My college has an alumni association which connects current students with the alumni and every two year an alumni meet is organised so that current students can interact. Alumni are really helpful. They offer every help including financial guidance .

I appeared for Icar Conducted exam and was ranked 88 so through Icar I got admission. Counseling is done in Delhi pusa campus of Icar . There we were given choice of all the agricultural universities according to rank .

Faculty is above average . Most of them are PhD in agricultural stream only. They teach in both English and Punjabi . They have very good communication skills. They share their personal experiences to motivate us
