Course Curriculum Overview

4

Is designed aptly for preparing for chartered accountancy exam and it prepares us for audit and finance roles. Areas for improvements in course curriculum and reaching methods would include use of modern methods and real life case studies. Frequency is once in a semester few test are conducted weekly

Internships Opportunities

3

Gross value of stipend offered is 31 lakhs and average stipend is around 15k around 200+ offers were released this year.about 125 recruiters came to provide internships they include Deloitte , EY, KPMG , Pwc , Accenture , Zomato etc

Placement Experience

4

Students become eligible to sit for the placements in the 5th semester , companies like De Shaw , Deloitte , Fractal Analytics Ey visit the campus to offer placements. 120 offers were made this year highest package is 24 lakh per annum and average is 7.5 lakh per annum 109 recruiters were present 165 students got placed . My plans are to pursue higher education after the degree

Fees and Financial Aid

The Annual fee for General Category Division Bcom , second year is ?16343. In the first year the fee was around ?15000. This fee is inclusive of everything however late payment and other charges may be charged depending on the individual. Our college charges us a a lumpsum annual amount and no details have been provided regarding its decomposition into admission fee , development fee or lab fee. Various kinds of scholarship schemes are available such as national Scholarship portal , Ratan Tata Scholarship for Young Authors etc.

Campus Life

3

The overall campus life is decent. Clubs are very active and a huge number of them are present undergoing various kinds of diverse activities a huge range of books are available in the library the annual fest mosaic was not impressive and due to mismanagement of was not conducted properly this year. In the class rooms only few of them have smart boards besides that no technological equipment is available besides lab rooms . Sports facilities are great we have two football grounds two badminton courts two volleyball courts and a basket ball court and indoor sports facility with table tennis and chess provisions.Ramjas Consulting society is an impactful club in the college and even Enactus who secured national second finish last year and work on grass root level.

Admission

I applied to Srcc , Hindu , Hansraj etc I got a confirmed seat at Ramjas itself. I chose this college because this is the best I could get with my score of 758/800. What went wrong was a systemic blunder committed by UGC in conducting cuet it was not conducted fairly and many sorts of pressures were put on cadidates. We need to appear for Cuet exam and then apply through CSAS portal. Cutoff for general are high this year the exam pattern changed and keeps changing. Overall experience was great

Faculty

4

Faculty to student ratio is around 1:20 , certain faculty are really helpful and kind but most of them are not approachable at all. I liked Mrs. Komal and Mrs. Nitika Aggarwal who thought us accounting and business organisation respectively. I do not like the principal and Mrs. Ruchi Verma they are very arrogant and rigid. There are two exams in a year one after the end of a semester. For certain courses the curriculum is not updated but for some it has been maintained.

Night Life

4

The night life around the college campus varies certain pockets of areas are entirely residential so they shut down early even the kamla nagar market shuts down by night time however Hudson lane and bungalow road remain active during night time aswell. Student can unwind in numerous ways they can eat at local street food carts or visit kamla nagar or Hudson lane. In our college both girls and boys hostel are present. It is safe to roam late night in Shakti Nagar kamla nagar Roop Nagar however everyone must take precaution regardless.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course provides a comprehensive image of finance and management, though after NEP, the curriculum seems a little irrelevent. The exams are conducted twice in a year, 2 sems per year, they conduct mid sem exams as well.
