Remarks

It was a good college I studied not. Only as per education as per extracurricular activities also, I tried to encourage my juniors to join in my college, in my view there are no negative points needed to remember

Course Curriculum Overview

They are following board circular what board chosen as a circular college need to select as a circular for that year. the exam also they conduct in a strict manner those who study well they will get good marks.

Placement is good ever year a lot of people selected for different companies all over India my college provide internships with some stipend to students they will get good knowledge about these and provide good technical knowledge

College Events

Every year we celebrate a lot of events, the anniversary is the most important event. before three months everything planned a lot of games and activities did by everyone not only our college it welcomes all surrounding colleges.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee is as per the course they will charge but it is feasible to all and it provides some stipends by the government schemes for some people and it's provide employment to a lot of people.in different ways.

Fees and Financial Aid

They provide a lot of scholarship to a lot of students, every year they conduct scholarship tests and they will provide some free education to some students with the help of the government they provide fee reimbursement also

Campus Life

They conduct a lot of campaign regarding environmental pollution control, water save, etc they provide good labs infrastructure every year they conduct sports fest in that ever college in that district will participate and won a lot of prizes

Alumni/Alumna

Regarding senior students they are brilliant everyone encourage freshers to participate in all, they all help they will clarify our doubts, they try to maintain a friendship with all juniors, and some are inspired as a soldier's

Admission

We need to write an entrance exam after that we need to go for counseling and we need to select web options then we select college after some days we need to check the allotted college after we need to join that college

In my college faculty having a good working experience, they will try to make a student who in backward as per studies to make him as an equal competitor to toppers of college. Encourage and treat everyone as equal

An average of more than 90% of rhe students were placed during my term. Companies like amazon, juspay, adobe, hcl, cts, tcs, adp etc came and there are 500 companies that visisted our campus during my batch

Sathyabama is value for money

Likes

the classrooms in specialization are air conditioned
faculty is supportive for academic growth

Dislikes

the attendance is strict at 75% and subject attendances upto 80%
you cannot exit campus before 3.15 pm under any circumstances

Placement Experience:

The placements are very decent and they provide internships as early career opportunities as well in 3rd year of studies and the college possess high conversion rates through these internships which support the resume with actual corporate exposure

Life in SRM

Likes

The building is new, so the infrastructure is great, classrooms are fully equipped

Dislikes

Placement cell is not very active and internship opportunities are not really provided from the side of the college
Rigid attendance system , need to maintain atleast 75% percent attendance. They do not easily provide On Duty attendance for going for internships

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is well structured and comprehensive integrating the subjects of arts as well as law. The first 2 years focus more upon the arts subject and thereafter focuses on legal subjects . Covers all the important laws pertaining to taxation, contracts, torts, labour law, environmental law, Interpretation of statutues, election laws, cyber law , etc.

Commerce cours has an entire building as we have five division in B.Com itself.
Seminars and industry people are called to guide us for placements and what all add ons do we need to learn to get a corporate job.
Our fests is too good as otherwise college gate closed at 5pm but during fests it last till 10 pm.

Dislikes

Dress code which is very wierd both for boys and girls.

Placement Experience:

P&G, Deloitte, KPMG, INTEL and many others have started taking interest in B.Com students as well. Placements though our of 400 it is still around like 100 odd students get placed from campus and with a salary of 30-40k around.

Staffs are so good they know how educate us
They always ask us understand the concept not just read the books and write in exams
They allow us for other clg events they want us involve in the events

Dislikes

Not really anything I'm not sure may be they are strict just to make us learn well

The exams timing are only based on the government m .g.r university the staff prepare us in a very good way for the real world the staff always makes us to practice a lot to make the things to do easier

Likes

The thing I most liked is the campus the infrastructue
There are a many clubs so it's exciting for people who like other things then studies
The opportunities as well the alumini network

Dislikes

The campus is very crowded there are many people compared to other colleges
The category wise fee structure and the increasing fees
Charges for hostel are little more then others

Placement Experience:

As of my information the placements are pretty decent..first the placements used to take place in Vellore campus but I guess jow they have started here as well ..as of my opinion the placement stars from the 7th semester

Likes

Like to study the subjects in a practical way as well as getting skillfull everyday
Liked the events and the participation of the students in every aspect of the event
Liked the way teachers behaving with the students in a friendly manner

Dislikes

The working hours in clinical area is way more high and not able to tolerate
The hostel rooms should be cleaned every week atleast
More restrictions for girls only and there is a partiality among the students in gender

The subjects are quite tough but can read and learn with a little bit more effort over those subjects and so the exam will be held for 3 hours continuously and the exam pattern in like semester type and so the course in more useful
