The college location is very good as compared to other college of delhi university as the lodhi garden ;safdarjung tomb; humanyun tlmb jln stadium delhi zoo sundar Nursery is a walking distance from the college and pragati maidan is also very close
The teachers is very helpful and engage with the students and help them
The canteen and library of our college is very huge as compare to other colleges we have a basketball court also societies of our college has varieties of societies which help students in self development and carrer opportunities

Dislikes

I did not like The crowd of the jatt jugar in our college they make the environment unfriendly our college did not have any fest and programes
Water cooler of our college is very old need to be updated college toilet is also very bad
College infrastructure is quite old is needs maintenance

Course Curriculum Overview

As I'm doing bsc physical science with computer science here only the cs subjects is helpful in my future carrer maths and physics are useless from my side..this couse teaches me the programming language which is helpful in job market but it is inferior as compared to btech graduate we have to struggle more to get a job as compared to btech graduate

Most of the company offer the job roles of marketing with the stipend ranges from 5000-30000k monthly our college have a placement cell which provides us the internship..every mknyh we have a 4-5 internship offers students get selected based on their CV

Placement is offered in our college but atlast all depend upon the students skill and there communication skill and the way they interact the Placement ratebis low in our college average is 4-5lpa and highest is 30 lpa.after this degree my plan is to do the mba from FMS

Currently iam doing bsc physical science with computer science in dyal sing college here the fee structure is 15760 yearly i includes all the amounts which include tution fee admission fee development fee lab fee all chages includes in this amounts which needs to pay at the time of admission ..scholarship is also provided to students with low income and others scholarship is also given to all student's the fee is very affordable if we compare with the course and facility provided by the college.

Campus Life

Our college did not have any programmes or festivals no fest ..library is ope. For all amd book is accessible to all NCC of our college is best we have ma largest ground in du for ncc our college is rich in sports and extracurricular activities

Admission

I applied for the government engineering colleges as im not able to score good in jee i used to choose this course as this couis easy we get a lots of free time for other activities amd competetive exams preparation

Faculty

Our college faculty and student ratio is medium we can easily approach them whenever we have any dout all the faculty do their best from their side if i talk from my side then i like my generic elective teacher palavi mam the most as the teaches very well explains all the things in detail by applying practical examples we have an end semester examination which have a 90 marks core subjects exam and 70 marks are for the internal on the student daily performance in the semester .

Night Life

Our college did not have any hostel facility students gave to live in pg or flats colleges timing is from 8am to 5pm college did not have any GYM Our college loacted is safest place as the NIA building is attacked to our college

Course Curriculum Overview:

I will rate the course curriculum 8/10. I like the labs specially they are modern with well equiped systems. According to me I suggest to improve the course structure to include more practical based learning instead of theory. Overall course is good.

venky is one of the best college in south campus

ratio of girls to boys is almost equal and students are well behaved
quality of social interaction is good students are cooperative
college societies are helpful for students and provide good guiding

Dislikes

our campus have 30+ dogs which is sometimes harmful for students
there is a language barrier between students and teachers
EVs faculty is very strict and they are not cooperative

The life at SVC

Likes

The fees is quite affordable, giving you a lot of flexibility for other academic programs/ commitments
The college has a great reputation and brand value
The exposure that the college provides in real life

Dislikes

The infrastructure is old and outdated, has a lot of scope for improvement
The administrative work is very slow and includes too much formalities
Low focus on co curricular activities and sports

Placement Experience:

The students become eligible for campus placements in the 3rd year of their graduation. Various companies offer multiple roles for placements on our campus like Nation With NaMo, Deloitte, KPMG, Accenture etc. and the no. of offers made usually varies between 250-400 depending on the batch. The average package is around 6.5-7 LPA and the highest usually varies from 13-15 LPA L. Usually 50 percent of the students get placed directly from campus and rest usually pursue some other academic programs or even off campus placements.

the location, nearest metro station ie Durgabai Deshmukh South Campus is at a walking distance of 2-5 mins
the crowd, students are quite decent and friendly.
opportunities, in college itself there are so many opportunities for students to explore through college societies

Dislikes

classes are canceled sometimes without any prior notice which creates a hassle for students coming from far away.

Placement Experience:

the placements of sri venkateswara college are quite good. campus placements are offered for third and fourth year students to the best of my knowledge. the average ctc offered was of 6.43 lacs, highest of 13.4 lpa. many great companies like bain and company, bcg, ey, deloitte, pwc, goldman sachs, accenture, rsa offered placements. in total, 70+ companies came and about 115+ students were placed.

I like the atmosphere in our college. Our college promotes us to think beyond the boundaries.
We have lush green campus in vivek vihar . Our campus is surrounded by parks and we'll managed societies.
The student in our college share a very good mindset . Each student has some unique qualities or the other .

Dislikes

The faculty is not very good here . The teachers don't listen to problems faced by the students .
Our college's online presence is very disturbed. Our college website lags a lot and there are always issues with attendence.
The authorities are not very well managed .

I think that the course curriculum is good and well managed . The curriculum has all necessary subjects related to our course as well as all other necessary subjects like human values and basic ethics. I find our course curriculum is apt for our course . Thought their is a lag for more practical learning and skills. It will be better if they add more practical learning.

The Honest Opinion about Hansraj College

Likes

The College provides great Exposure to everyone.
The Crowd and Societies of the College are always active and energetic.

Dislikes

The whole structure of Admin office is underdeveloped, which utilizes a lot of our precious time.
Many of the College events are ill-organised.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The syllabus of Electronics Hons and Electrical Engineering is same but makes it different is how we perceive it. We study the syllabus with theoretical aspects while the engineers with practical aspects. We have a chance to opt for the 4th year, which only comprises of Research. One of the optionals is Generic Elective and if you take GE from same department for all semesters, you will attain a minor degree. The Faculties and whole curriculum is great but the other optionals require improvement. The other optionals only make the Student Life hectic, that stumbles the Student's focus from Course track.

Infrastructure of the college is worst. There is lack of proper buildings for classes. The canteen area is also not good. There is lack of complete apparatus in physics and chemistry labs. There are so many issues like broken seats and materials.
The college lacks a dedicated placement. There is limited structure support for students. Students have to secure internships and job offers through their personal efforts.
There is absence of societies and extra curricular activities. While the college has some clubs and events. The college does encourage students to engage in activities.

The things i liked in my college is the teching faculty provided. They have a good experience of teaching with mny research papers which have been published by them.
The second best thing is the college amenities like library and society. You will get every book required for you curriculum in the college library incuding few magzines too. The society will help you to develop other soft skills.
The most important part of college life are webinars where we interact with someone big professional like Dr. H. C. Verma sir who once visited in our college aur big faces too. Sports events, skills webinar, Cultural events makes the overall experien

Dislikes

A little bit old infrastructure can a point that is disliked by us and many students. As everyone wants to be a part of a new and good looking college
Lack of hostel facility in the college campus is a major issue. Specially for those students who are not able to accommodate in the Flats/PG due to thier financial status. But the new building will be available with all the facilities within few year

Placement Experience:

Students of 6th sem are eligible for the campus selection process. Our course also have placement programs. Some companies that visit here are TCS, Wipro and few more the no of offers made depend upon the performance of student in the placement cell. The highest package as per my knowledge is 13 lakhs and the average here is 6 lakhs. Sorry for the inconvenience but I don't have any knowledge regarding the job profile given. The placement percentage changes every year depending upon the respective batch. My planning after the course is either placement otherwise my prime goal CSE.

Pros and Cons of Dyal Singh College

Dyal Singh College comes under the University of Delhi this the admissions are done on the basis only CUET exam results. I had applied to other top Delhi University Colleges and some private colleges aswell however I didn't get very high marks in CUET and thus fell short of the cutoff of really big colleges but luckily I cleared this colleges cutoff and although I was accepted in a few other private colleges I chose this college as it offered not only great ROI but also a very active social life...Read More
