My course name is energy system analysis and design. This mainly deals with thermal and different types of renewable energy. It's an advanced course in thermal science. This course consists of 4 semester out of which first two semesters consists of theories/labs/seminars/miniproject. 3rd semester consists of two subjects and remaining project phase1. Finally fourth semester is completely project.

Unfortunately no placement is for mtech students. But btech students will have placements.I think an average of 15-20% of students are placed in every year. Our students are going other organizations for doing internship. There are different kinds of stipends are availed by students like gate,teqip,MoMA,etc.

There are different events celebrated in our college like lakshya, fresher's day, onam celebration,nss activities, tech fest, seminars, projects,workshops,tech fest, college day, election,Holi etc etc. it's countless i think every week at least one event will be there.

Fee structure is very inexpensive or cheap. I think for btech approximately 8000 per year is the tuition fee. And for mtech nearly 8000 per semester. And most of the students will get scholarship amount greater than their tuition fees.

I'm availed gate scholarship provided by mhrd for 2 years. The amount is 12400 per month which is more than enough for me for my expenses. Or those who don't have gate they are eligible for teqip scholarship of 8000 per month

All are present in college. Countless activities are performed in college. Labs are well equipped with machinery/instruments and tradesmen/teachers will helps to do labs. We have a basket ball/badminton and table tennis courts inside the campus itself and a common play ground is for both polytechnic and us

There is no hostel for boys. Ladies hostel is there but don't know about that. Lots of private rooms/hostel are outside the campus and majority of the students stay there. For college girls hostel living expenses are too low.

There is no official alumni groups. But we keep contact our seniors for various reasons like project related helps, lecture notes, etc, they are really helpful in solving our problems.They also helps in finding jobs also.

I qualified gate 2015 in mechanical engineering during final year of btech. Then I applied for mtech through online. They admit students through either gate or marks scored in qualifying degree. But the first preference will goes to gate qualified students.

There are two types of faculties are there in our college, permanent faculty and contract staffs. Both the faculties are very qualified and passed out from premium institute like nit/iit. Guest faculties and some permanent faculties will work hard and delivers good classes. But some permanent faculty are lazy and didn't work hard.
