Course Curriculum Overview
I was going to take Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) but then I heard about my course, Bachelor of Management Studies (BMS). I found out that this course is similar to BBA but has more worth then BBA. This course is about management in corporate industry. In simple this course prepare students to beacome managers in corporate companies.
Placement Experience
There is a placement cell in my college. There are students who call companies to come for the placements. I there are teachers too in the placement cell. But the placement record is not good. In previous years the highest placement hit was 22 lakh in my course . But the ratio of students getting placements is very few.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees for my course in my college is same for every category is 17500. 17500 is the annual fees. There are no other extra fees or charges. There is examination fees at the time of exams which is between 1300-2000, on basis of the subjects you have, mare practical subject more fees. This examination fees is per semester fees, it means we have to pay it 2 times a year.
Campus Life
I am not involved in any of the clubs, societies or any cells of my college. But I heardany positives and negatives about societies and cells. There are annual events of every department which was organized by the students of that department. There is an annual event of the college. And there is an annual sports day too.
Admission
There are around 9 colleges of this course in DU. One of them is a women college. When I was taking admission I didn't do research on all colleges. In DU Sahid Shukhdev college is the no. 1 in this course. But I didn't and I thought that my college is a north campus college - in DU north campus colleges are the top colleges - that's why I enrolled in this college. But this college is also good
Faculty
The faculty of our department are very nice. The faculty are understanding and has a supportive nature towards the students. Teachers take around 3-4 tests per subject for the marking of Internal assessment (IA) and Continuous assessment (CA).
Interview Experience
No . There were no group discussion, interview or any written test for the admission. Only give Common university entrance test (CUET) to get admissions in any central university of india. It's the only way I think.
Night Life
My college timing is 9 am to 5:30 pm. After that the security of college made the students leave. There is a gym in my college which opens at around 7 am. There is a canteen too but taste is average, sometimes tastes better. There is a hostel in college campus but it's a girls hostel.
