Course Curriculum Overview

4

I choose this course because I wanted to prepare for UPSC and the course is very much relevant and comprehensive according to the syllabus of UPSC. The only improvement in teaching method could be in the suggestion of some hard readings and how to read according to the changing patterns of the syllabus of new education policy.

Internships Opportunities

3

As being student of political science honours I haven't be known as such with any companies which provide internship but there are options for principal internship scheme for students of second and third year .

Placement Experience

3

There are more placements in the BCom department. Our course majority of the students go into the field of competitive exams. I am aware of the annual package being 6 LPA of Bcom students. Talking about my degree I will be having plans to prepare for UPSC.

Fees and Financial Aid

My course fees was 20000 this year which is affordable comparing it with other private universities. Also that if it doesn't sound affordable then our college provides the student with Student Aid Fund in which few part of fees is refunded to the economically weaker students . The fees thought has increased from the last year by approx 3 thousand rupees but that has also led to increase in facilities like reading hall with Ac and new auditorium.

Campus Life

4

Our college has various types of societies in it and also focusing on the social aspect club involvement and infrastructure provided to them , college is playing a very crucial role for student character development through college society. College provides the opportunity to each and every department to host their fest individually and also a college fest annually. There is also student union who are involved into proper decision making for students and listen the problems of students

Admission

I placed this college in the 6 position and there was a senior who was already in this college who told me about the faculty and also the department of political science was very genuine according to him. I have also try to search some Google reviews. I got rejected in my top 5 preferences because my cut off was not up to the mark and also this was my sixth placed college in the preference list of cuet examination. The entrance of this college is from the same CUET examination.

Faculty

4

Faculties are very much supportive and understanding. Faculties like saima iqbal mam , surya sir , ninad Shankar nath sir , are very much supportive for students which erase the barrier gap between students and teachers Including above many more facilities are the best in their field and experience. There are many faculties who are strict but they are not bad at the teaching. Exams are based on semester systems and each year there are two major exams rest are the test and presentations either in group or individual. The course is very much relevant according to its ask in many competitive exams.

Night Life

5

The college rounds in a very nice society which has various types of cafeteria's gyms and also many societal parks . There are also temples nearby and also the night life is cool and locality is safe to room around college whole night as there is protection of police which is surrounded in the colony with barricading of Delhi police whole night but there is way for delivery drivers. Most of the cafes are close by 12 but there is one spot called night Parantha which is open till two or three am .

Placement Experience:

The placement opportunities are mainly for commerce stream departments but the humanities stream also are offered internship from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and Home ministry. There are many private companies that come to offer placements. The students from 3rd year in particular apply for internships. The highest package iffered is 500000 and the average is 250000. About 45% students get placements. My plan after getting the degree is to go for higher studies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Being brutally honest I don't think that the course contributes a lot to our preparation for the real world but it teaches us very new things which I like. The course might not be very helpful in our real life preparation or the preparation for the real world but at the same time it enhances our knowledge and teachers as about various new things so I am satisfied with my course and whatever the curriculum includes I like it

Course Curriculum Overview:

In term of relevance I'll say that there are many topics which should not be taught as they are way too old and contradicting in modern times. New tumes problems and solutions should be taught in replace focusing on present.

Placement Experience:

Final year students are generally placed with an average package of 7-8 lakhs for management programs. Companies including the big 4 like EY, KPMG, Deloitte and other reputed companies have visited and many offers have been made. Around 60% of the students get placed in management branch. After getting the degree, I am also planning to appear in the placement opportunities.
