In total VIT is a place with loads of opportunity and you must be wise enough to pick them up and use them wisely. It's all how you personally perform in your given area. Some people get lost in vit due to lack of interest and not putting effort after hard schooling.
Course Curriculum Overview
It's pretty well-matched with all top universities in India. The curriculum is called FFCS (fully flexible credit system) it means you are allowed to chose your timetable by yourself and your choice of teachers.
Placement Experience
Vit University is known for its placements records! It holds Limca book of records for the highest number of placements achieved in a single academic year. And University doesn't offer internships directly. They let the company take students as interns. And the stipend various from company to company.
College Events
There are almost one or the other events going on in vit every day. if we take the major events only then! The tech fest is called gravitas and the culture fest is called riviera. And its ranks in one of the top 5 fests in India
Fee Structure And Facilities
As it's mentioned above the fees depend on how well you rank in VITEEE. There are 5 categories and the lowest i.e category one in my time of joining it was around 1 and a half lakhs INR and the 5th category being 4.5 lakhs INR.
Fees and Financial Aid
There is a scholarship offered in vit.if you get in the top 100 ranks in the VITEEE examination then your tuition fee is totally waved off. For your entire degree program. There some terms and conditions to maintain the scholarship. It's that you have to maintain a min of 8.0 GPA throughout all semester to keep the scholarship in terms.
Campus Life
All most all the labs in vit in real good shape and all in working condition. And there are loads and loads of extracurricular activities in Vit University, there are various clubs, student chapters,s and student teams in which you can join according to your interest.
Alumni/Alumna
The one bad part in Vit is that the connection with seniors is not found by all students, until and unless you're in a team or club it's quite difficult to find the connection with seniors. Or else it's good if you have some schools seniors to guide you in VIT
Admission
We have to write the VITEEE exam. Then they have a separate counseling process according to your rank. The courses are offered according to your ranks. And in 5 different categories. It all depends on how you rank in their examination.
Faculty
All most all the facilities are Ph.D. holders and have a fine amount of experience in their respective fields. They do teach well and will mostly make ppt presentations every class. About the topic they are Gona teach.
