Remarks

Yeah the college is very good. I have got a very exciting memory. The four years were awesome. Many things can be improved. The administrative department should be more advanced as per today. Some courses should be replaced by the newer technologies.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is pretty good. All the courses are up-to-date technology and I got to know a lot. the course structure is of semester basis. In a year there were two semesters. So there are 4 exams in a year i.e 2 internals and 2 final exams.

Placement Experience

The placement status of the college is the best throughout the state. Every year many companies are coming into the campus for recruitment process and most of the students got an offer as per their subject. The college has a very good placement statistics record.

College Events

The college may be a technical institute but there are several events those are celebrated in the premise. Including national observation days, many functions are celebrated in the college. Every student gives their best to make every celebration perfect.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is basically of two types. One is for regular students and the second one is for self financing student. The fees for regular students is relatively less as compare to fees for self financing students.

Fees and Financial Aid

The students can avail a number of scholarships. The scholarship is totally based on the merit list. There are two banks in the campus for loan purpose. Students can avail loan for their course completion.

Campus Life

There are a number of extracurricular activities are taking place through out the year. There is an annual sport's program. A technical fest and a cultural fest is carried out by the institution. The labs are very good. Every student has to give an examination in order clear lab exam and the labs are in very good condition.

Hostel Facilities

I was staying outside but the hostel infrastructure is very good. There are many facilities are provided to the students in the hostel. The food, canteena and a lot of facilities are provided by the institution to the students staying in hostels.

External Expense: Rs.7000 - Rs.10000

Alumni/Alumna

The college has a very vast alumni network. All the alumni are working in different parts of the globe in various prestigious places. There is an alumni association consisting of all the old students. The alumni association helps lot for the development and welfare of the new students as well as the college.

Admission

I got into this college by appearing JEE main exam. Got short listed. Got an email regarding selection and admission date. On the admission day all the documents were verified and I got into the institution.

Faculty

The college has a rich faculty and staff. All the teachers are very good and have great ideas of the subject they are teaching. The faculties are very friendly and students friendly. They taught every subject very thoroughly and they also available for doubt cleaning if required.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is now updated since it became a University, so its more relevant to industry now but still we have to do extra courses for coding. Exams happen every few months—2 internals and one end-sem. They are not very easy, you actually need to study to pass without backlogs

Likes

The infrastructure of each campus in the college is very pretty and it's a green campus
The classrooms are well equipped with WiFi, Smart-boards for digital education.
Also travelling from one campus to another has been made easier as buses and golf carts are provided to students

Dislikes

The crowd of students here is too much which feels too much chaotic and disturbing .
The hostel management here as they don't give importance to the major issues here.
The hostel mess food. The quality is degrading day by day

Placement Experience:

The placements of my college is good. This year 75% of the students are already placed with an average package of 8LPA . The highest package till now for this year is 22LPA. Many companies have visited for the placements and 100+ offers have been made. Companies like BNY, Infosys, Deloitte, Accenture, Capgemini, Cognizant, Bain& Company, High Radius, TCS, EY, PWC and many more of them have visited the campus.

The college campus greenery and campus cleaning management are doing really very well that is the only good part but that doesn't matter much for your career.
⭐⭐There is nothing good to mention about this college after going through all the procedures from taking admission to degree,I regret and many of my friends also regretting taking admission into this college.⭐⭐

Dislikes

They have a good well maintained cricket ground but students are never allowed there only for commercial purposes and to attract new joinee.
Staff and management are very helpful and polite only till admission done.🥲.
Hostel food quality is extremely unhigenic, no one takes responsibility after many complaints also.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum was very classical , too much theory oriented for placement point of view they will provide last 1 month or 2 months training for aptitude part rest for technical you have to study on your own.

The campus life after college hours is quite engaging and helps us develop as a person.
Extra curricular activities are into multiple options.
Faculties are good in nature,they teach us like a friend.

Dislikes

Bad condition of the washrooms ,not cleaned.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum includes the real projects which help learn more practically. It would had been better to have more site and industrial visits and export sessions to learn better.The exams are not so difficulty to score.

Likes

Beautiful campus with lot's of space and with good computer labs
They conduct exam in very smoothly manner

Dislikes

Need to improve administrative building while submitting fees many students face problem
Lab session of some subjects are too long which is around 3 hrs which need to reduce for atleast 2 hrs

Placement Experience:

Placement opportunities in my college are good, with students generally becoming eligible for campus placements from the pre-final or final year, depending on the course and company criteria. The college has an active placement celll that supports students by Organizing training sessions, resume building and also mock interviews.

It has state-of-the-art architecture with a blend of culture
Has highly talented professors along with efficient pedagogy

The food provided at the mess can be improved to some extent

The pedagogy is excellent since majorly learning is through real-world case studies, reserach papers, peer discussions and interactive class activities. The professors provide materials and pre-reads at the starting of the term and the content is highly focussed on practical learning. The AI sessions are enriching. The difficulty level of exams vary among the instructors but usually is aligned with topics already taught.

there are smart class rooms and good faculty for my course and various extracurricular activities are available for students
you can compete many state and national level competitions such as essay writings, creative writings, debate, poster making, etc.
the management of the university is really commendable. various departments and cells have been established to help students in their academic life such as; placement cells, incubation and innovation centers for young entrepreneurs

Dislikes

students who are engaged in political activities often exercise their dominance over other students
sanitation could be better with the mutual efforts of both the students and the college management
though is a placement cell present, i haven't seen many numbers of students getting employed through the university placement cell

sociology as an academic discipline is really sought after in the recent times. it is considered as one of the most sought elective chosen by the upsc aspirants and the discipline in itself gives you a great chance at understanding your society and other societies about how they function amd operate, provides knowledge about various cultures, health, environment, city structure and so much more. you can pursue higher studies or go for NET exams right after post graduation. you can also work with ngos and other nonprofit organizations. each semester is ideally of 6 months and two exams are there. the difficulty level of exams would range from moderate to high

The professor who taught in our class they are taught is best In teaching.
They provide you many opportunities to work upon on you.
The infrastructure of college is good and huge.

Dislikes

The campus is very vast, and you have to walk for every minute of work.
The are very serious about your study and what you are doing
The gate get closed if you get came late even it's 5-10 minute late.

Placement Experience:

It's good as many company come but the placement directly depend on your study and hard work of your 4 year and a pre placement also conduct in 3rd year where you can also get placed. For placement the student should secure 8-10 cgpa for sit in interview exam.

Buckle up Journey in Vssut

I have applied to only Outr(formerly Cet Bhubaneswar). I have applied on the technical branches, but got none of them as my rank was around 152000. As Cet is not very good for its core branches, so I preferred Vssut over it. To get technical branches in cet bhubaneswar your rank should be under 50000 in Jee mains. The admission process is through the OJEE COUNSELLING. It is the counselling only for the students of odisha and anyone out of Odisha appearing the OJEE examination. VSSUT as seen by 2nd years

I applied for outr Bhubaneswar and vssut burla. I was getting electrical branches in both the colleges. But in outr there are not enough hostels for student neither the campus is that much attracting. O the other hand vssut have total 11 hostel and can accommodate every student studying and the campus is also somewhat good. But for csit branches there are not enough facilities in vssut To get admission here you have to get a rank in jee main exam and have to go through ojee counselling. To get to cse branch your all India rank must be within 1lakhs and for electrical branch its about 1.5lakhs and for lower branches production rank does not matter that must there are seats pending vacant you can get them via spot counselling...Read More
