Remarks

Positive Remarks College has a good name since 1960s. Active participation in events in different colleges Negative Remarks Water is the main problem in our college. Apart from that there are many disturbances like strikes , teachers strike etc.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The course curriculum is a bit out dated and obsolete. Every semester has 5 subjects and 4 practicals Examination structure is simple Every semester we have two exams namely Mid Semester exam (20marks) and End Semester exam ( 70 marks) and remaining 10 marks rests in the hands of the teacher. Lab practicals have separate 100 marks including practical exam , viva , records and quiz

Placement Experience

3.5

The placement and job opportunities are ample with over 70% of the students getting placed every year with an average package of 3 lakhs. Our college does not provide internship as students have to visit different places for internship. I have no experience in any internship by the college and the question for stipend does not arise for Bachelor's. M.Tech couses do have a stipent of ?10,000 per month

College Events

4.5

There is an annual sports event ILLUMINA where almost all the student try to participate in events like sprints, marathon, long jumps , volleyball, football, etc. Then comes annual technical fest ( SAMAVESH) where students try to participate in different robotic, Idea , designing events and students of different institutions also participate in showcasing their talents in the field of technology A branch fest for every branch in the college for 2-3 days Different festivals like Ganesh Puja, Vishwakarma puja , Saraswati puja , holi, Diwali, Dushhera etc are celebrated with utmost zeal And finally the most awaited fest , The annual cultural fest ( VASSAUNT) for 3days and the last fest of an academic year.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is feasible as it is a government college. There are different schemes for financially unstable students whose annual income is below 1 lakh. Academic fees per semester is around 25,000 excluding hostel.

Fees and Financial Aid

College has a scholarship scheme for economically weak students called E-Medhavi providing a stipend of ?10,000 per annum. And a special scholarship for different government employees children. A scholarship for Backward classes of ?50,000 (Prerna ) which almost covers all the academic fees. I have not availed any of these scholarships.

Campus Life

3

Extracurricular activities are equally important in ones academic career, Our college has many such clubs which help us in participating in Inter college events like literature, Robotics, Drama , Music, Dancing etc. Regarding sports, we have an annual sports fest (Illumina) for 3days where almost every students participate and win appreciation and certificates. There are also 2 other fests Technical (Samavesh) and Cultural fest ( Vassaunt) annually for 3 days each. Coming to academics there are also branch fests for every branch for 2-3 days annually. Labs are well equipped with instruments though few of them are obsolete many of them are functioning well.

Hostel Facilities

4

Yes , I have opted for hostel , the infrastructure is good ,a new hostel with neat and tidy rooms , clean bathrooms. We sometimes face water problems and LAN connection hasn't yet given. Water purifiers and washing machines are provided in every floor. I would rate 4/5.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes, Seniors are really helpful giving advice supporting in every aspect. They help in smooth operation of clubs , societies. Alumnus are always ready to fund for any equipment required for clubs, They also help in funding for various other events which college doesn't help.

Admission

After qualifying JEE Mains ,I applied for OJEE entering details such as Jee mains roll number , marks state. Then I appeared for counseling at a nearby centre submitting necessary documents proofs and got registered for OJEE. After selecting different colleges and streams priority wise and after mock counseling and temporary allotment I was alloted a college and stream based on my JEE mains rank.

Faculty

3

Faculty are well educated , experienced and skilled. Few are dedicated like any other college few are not that dedicated taking leaves for every silly reason Few are strict and punctual giving assignments every day Few are least interested in assignments. Most of them complete the syllabus on time while few of them leave the syllabus incomplete. Few of them take extra classes for the sake of students. Few scold the students for silly reason. The faculty here is balanced with all types.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is now updated since it became a University, so its more relevant to industry now but still we have to do extra courses for coding. Exams happen every few months—2 internals and one end-sem. They are not very easy, you actually need to study to pass without backlogs

Course Curriculum Overview:

The pedagogy is excellent since majorly learning is through real-world case studies, reserach papers, peer discussions and interactive class activities. The professors provide materials and pre-reads at the starting of the term and the content is highly focussed on practical learning. The AI sessions are enriching. The difficulty level of exams vary among the instructors but usually is aligned with topics already taught.

sociology as an academic discipline is really sought after in the recent times. it is considered as one of the most sought elective chosen by the upsc aspirants and the discipline in itself gives you a great chance at understanding your society and other societies about how they function amd operate, provides knowledge about various cultures, health, environment, city structure and so much more. you can pursue higher studies or go for NET exams right after post graduation. you can also work with ngos and other nonprofit organizations. each semester is ideally of 6 months and two exams are there. the difficulty level of exams would range from moderate to high

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well MBBS is a serving degree, if you are interested in serving the people you can choose this degree. It also needs a lot of patience, here we have classes from 7 AM so its a bit hard to wake up this early & ends at 4 PM which causes more trouble coz u won't get to rest properly, usually we end up being tired & lack of sleep, so I think this schedule can have a bit more change with regards to us children. The exams here are done very frequently, as in the class tests are taken up time to time , sometimes surprise tests are also done so u have to be very updated with what's being studied each cls.The internals are held in every trimester & at the end of the year a product exam is being held which is the important one.
