Remarks

Overall I love my college but still there are area in which the improvement is necessary. Like faculties, placements and organising field trips. The faulties needs to be experienced and not someone who teaches and dictates from books.

Course Curriculum Overview

There was no elecive subjects in the course except in the last sem there were 2 elective subjects in which we have to select any one. The exam structure comprises of theory and practical exams for both internal as well as external

Placement Experience

Pathetic job placemets. Only 2 companies in the span of whole year came for the placements. Only upside is their is a independent student cell called as placement cell who organises a job fair in which various companies come to offer jobs.

College Events

The cultural fest is really good and big spanning 3-4 days. Also we have started the intercollegiate tech fest in which students can exhibit their innovations and ideas and take part in various gaming events and quizzes to win exciting prizes.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is quite feasible comparing to other A grade colleges. Mostly the college provides various facilities in exchange for their fees. They offer vast variety of books in Thier library and also they have well equipped computer laboratory.

Fees and Financial Aid

Have not opted for any scholarship. But i know that if the student shows his/her academic brilliance he/she may be eligible for scholarships in which they get 50% of their tution fee in return as a gratitude.

Campus Life

Well equipped computer laboratory with air conditioning. Also the Lab for Microprocessor and electronic subject are also real good. Somaiya group is well known for their sports culture. They train and nurture students really well.

Alumni/Alumna

Not at all, The alumni meeting helds over a year but no one knows when it happens. No communication at all. Senior students also forgets the college once they leave. This should not be done for a well reputed college.

Admission

Admission in graduation was purely based on the merit list. I got the admission in the Gujarati linguistic minority quota by filling up and submitting the form. Nowadays all the admission process is done through online only.

Faculty

Not so knowledgeable except 2-3 old faculities. Rest of them are just good enough. 2-3 faculities are extremely knowledgeable purely because of vast experience they have in teaching industry. They also backs the students for organising various cultural events.

The Best Info Bout RJ College

Likes

The teachers are well qualified and really cares about students. The college environment is friendly and teachers push the students for taking part in different fest and culture..
The whole team is super supportive and provide emotional support too and basically always students first policy. The general staff is also polite and helpful
The department and head teaches well and helps student everytime and there are many fest and culture and clubs too

Dislikes

Just the space is not good like congested, other than nothing

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is up to dated also including amazing practicals and computer labs too. Real world application is amazing and the course with having practical experiment gives the experience, Next we also have excursion cum study trip around nearby gardens which is a fun way to learn and enjoy at the same time. Exams are in a way that helps to evaluate the students expereince and knowledge.

the curriculum included both theoretical and practical subjects related to computer science ,which matches my interest in technology and career growth . The curriculum provided foundational knowledge ,practical assignments ,and project work that helped in understanding real word application More industry oriented training is suggested the exams were conducted after 6 months every semester some times the results are delayed by university

An Honest Review of My BSc Computer Science College Experience

Likes

The staff and faculty members are very supportive and good in nature.
Friendly student environment. Never heard of any ragging incident taken place.
They conduct Events, workshops, and different activities regularly and neatly.

Dislikes

Canteen food is limited and quality is average
Limited Campus placement opportunities and less industry experience
Lab equipment and resources needs to be improved,

Placement Experience:

Campus placement are limited in the college. A few companies visit during the final year, and students usually becomes eligible fromo the last semester. The packages offered are generally modest, mostly for entry-level roles. Only a small percentage of students get placed thorugh campus drives, while many prefer to apply off-campus for better opportunities. The college provides basic placement support such as info about job openings and guidance, but students need to build their own skills and prepare independently. After completing the degree, students prefer to pursue higher studied, professional courses, or entry-level IT jobs.

The campus itself is huge and beautiful tbh.
The Events or Fest Days like it was crazy like ganesh utsav, Holi , Etc etc.
The exam envoirment was strict but only if we had exams at foundation college otherwise it was not that good if we have exams in same department

Dislikes

The faculty. like they dont even know the subject core or anything from the subject
Food and canteen services. i had worst experinces about the food quality from sandip university.
Campus was Huge but not safe. sometimes hyena comes sometimes cheetah sneak in our campus. at night it looks like haunted college tbh.

Course Curriculum Overview:

like i was sure that i want a course that will give me experince about AIML with subjects like 3D design + Coding + Envoirmental studeis and all. and the course from the sandip actually have all these subjects in a single course thats why i choose this course. curriculam was good it was updated on time. the course helps me to land a internship with goverment cause i learn the basics of AI from this course. the ares of improvements should be the faculty members like they are horrible sometimes they dont even make the notes for the subjects they ask students to make notes and shared with other students. even one of the faculty member shared a playlist form youtube for a specific subject and ask us to take notes from it and prepare for exam not a single leccture he takes at that time. the frequency of the exam is also not that good cause the want us to prepare for the final semster exam which is of 6 months in just 3 months with all the paper works , projects , assignments etc etc.

A relational Day at a SANDIP UNIVERSITY

There is no ragging of any kind in the college. Due to the large number of security forces, bodyguards, and bouncers, there is complete security and privacy in the college.So girls don't have any fear in college, everything is safe.
The faculty speaks in unison with everyone. If someone does not understand in English, they are also explained in their mother tongue, so that no child faces any inconvenience while learning.
In college, not only education but also a lot of attention is paid to culture. Which is very necessary for current students and I have also participated in many new cultural activities.

Dislikes

The college follows the time rule but sometimes there is no understanding about a child or his late arrival. He is stopped at the gate, no matter how far you have come.That there is no one available at the gate to understand the person concerned
The college is completely technical and only blackboards are used during lectures and no projectors of any kind are used. Projectors are used only during presentations and that too at very minimal times.
The highest fee in the college is for MBA and smart classrooms are provided only to them, which is tantamount to partiality to the rest of the students.This makes those people realize that the faculty is poor.

Placement Experience:

After taking admission in the college, the placement drive is started for the student immediately from the second semester. All the information about which is sent to the class wise group and if the student is eligible, you can apply immediately after seeing your experience. The experience is very beautiful. You learn new things. You also understand how the interview round is conducted and what the eligibility is. Most of the companies that come to the college include renowned companies like Microsoft, Infosys, TCS, Deollite, etc., which hire students. The biggest package of Rs 7 crore per NM has been given so far from Sandeep University in the entire Nashik district.Which is a matter of great pride. Sandeep University is the only college where the largest job fair seminar in Maharashtra is attended. In which students from all over Maharashtra come and give live interviews to companies that have come to the college, give their region and announce hiring on the spot.Therefore, this college provides the greatest opportunity for students to meet all the renowned companies under one roof in one place. During the interview, the student's critical thinking skills and his/her inclination are shown rather than CGP and marks to determine whether he/she is eligible or not. In my experience, the college provides such strong education that at least four students are placed in companies every week. I am currently completing my graduation and will be starting my career immediately after that.

My First impression at VU

Likes

All clear paperwork for admission, no hassle of domicile or and other extra documents and direct admission.
Options to choose between subjects as they are not gonna force any thing on you and you could select subjects from different streams also as like I've selected business etiquette from commerce faculty.
The library is well furnished and equipped. In my free time I just sit there and complete my assignment or read some magazines.

Dislikes

Some classrooms lack finishing and somewhere the paint is peeling of.
Some of the guards are arrogant, some in parking lot and in buliding entry gate.

Placement Experience:

I think 5th sem is where students start getting placements or internships. I don't know much about the placements as it's my first year and my colleges started just a month ago. My plans aren't straight forward as I come from a business background I can't predict what would I be doing but I want to have a career in operating system development .

The Campus Story : the lands of horror.

Likes

They give non-typical college feel where you don’t have to think about anyone as a stranger and can talk openly but within some limits and moderation.
Their courses are out of the norm which are fundamentally created around sports and can make a career in that specific field.

Dislikes

Their management is just the same as any other college as normal procedures just take too much time.
Strict rules to be followed by the university guidelines.
Not to expect any good events to be hosted by them

Placement Experience:

My college gives campus placement placement opportunities typically after 4th semester, which is the 2nd half of the 2nd year. As my college has a partnership with IBM so the standards of campus placement go right up as the placement depends on the curriculum performance of the student so can't really say much for this. If saying as a stalemate, getting a placement is basically confirmed if the student maintains his/her CGPA of 6-7, which shows the consistent of the student in their field.

As a student in the Modern College and being a biotechnology student, the College is star rated college under DBT (Department of Biotechnology) . And gives the opportunities to study in Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology , Australia 2.)RASA life sciences, Pune .3.) Applied Nanomaterials pvt.limited, Pune.etc . The students getting out from here also get into Boston , Sydney and other well known institutions. I plan to complete my M.Sc Biotechnology and go for the industrial biotechnology in a drugs and chemicals field.

I applied for S.I.E.S college of science,arts and commerce, Mumbai and kj Somaiya college of science, arts, and commerce. But i got confirmation in sk somaiya college. So I choose this college over others i Waited for this college because I heard many fascinating thing about this college. Other college like kj somaiya i didn't get admission because of percentage eligibility there was more cutoff comparatively. The eligibility of my college is minimum 80% above percentage and exams such as ssc board then CBSE board are required, if talking about experience I had a very mid experience because I didn't took all the required documents and i had to run to xerox place but one thing is good that the xerox place was available in the college itself . The years I will remember.

I applied to KJ and Rizvi as well and got confirmation from Rizvi, but after comparing it with SK Somaiya in aspects such as sports and curriculam, SK Somaiya was the best fit for me. I did get rejected in KJ Somaiya because of my marks in 10th, KJ is known to have the highest cut-offs. The admission process is centralised and is done on the basis of merit and seat available.
