The internship opportunities available are really really great. Recently my seniors got around 1700000 per annum job . Getting placed in such a good company with such good package just after three years of graduation is really something everyone craves for and there is hansraj that provides it. It is one of the top tier colleges of Delhi university in terms of placement opportunities. Big companies like Ey, deshaw, bain, pwc and many more provides pre placement offers, and various opportunities to hansraj students. Its a blessing to be in this college.
The campus life is really fun. There are always some things going on in the campus. In societies we always have new events coming up, then we have hansraj fest, ethnic day, sports competitions and various other inter competitions and hence it is really great being indulged in so many such social events. Society events like e summit, bequest are also really fun. Not only the fun element but also we get to learn so many new things also get network with people.
I like my financial accounting teacher Dr drupendu das sir and my hod satanuka mam they both are of friendly nature and supportive. I don't like my economics mam they don't teach well . For 4 years honours degree there are total 8 semester but level of exam difficulty is high.
My name is Nikesh shaw. I have taken admission in tdb collage by paying 3500 as a admission fees including first semester fees.In these collage admission are taken on merit basis. I have scored 84 percent in my 12 boards then I have received admission here .
As a B.A. LL.B. student at Lloyd Law College, Greater Noida, the yearly fee for my course is approximately ?1.8–2.4 lakhs per year, making the total cost of the 5-year program around ?8–9 lakhs, depending on the batch and fee revisions. The fee structure mainly includes tuition fees, along with one-time charges such as admission fee (initially charged but later adjusted), registration fee, and refundable caution money, and annual components like development and other compulsory academic charges. As per my knowledge, the fee generally remains the same for a batch once admitted, though it may increase for new intakes. Students from General/Management categories usually pay the full fee, while SC/ST students often pay a much lower effective amount due to government scholarships and fee reimbursement schemes. The college also offers merit-based and merit-cum-need scholarships, and some students receive concessions for one-time payment or academic performance, which helps reduce the financial burden.
Overall the faculty members are good and quite observant for the kids. They conduct various class activity to promote speaking and presentation skills and also to inculcate team work in students. The teaching pace and style might be different and difficult to catch but overall it's good.
Among the all the events held in our college one of the best and biggest event is VIBHAVA . It is the cultural event held in our college on the behalf of Karnataka rajyotsava. Many technical events held like Marvel Event,Milagro, technical fest and many hackathon. Other activities like Sports (Throwball, Volleyball,Kabbadi,Chess, etc), Clubs like Tatva,Vachana,IEEE,Marvel ,etc.
As our college has 100 years of legacy it was one of the top college. For the reason of its legacy many companies offers jobs and many of the best companies are come to our college. As I am first year student I don't have idea about it lot. Average placement is 54 lakhs. Almost above 70% of students get placed.
Students are eligible for campus placement from 6th semester. But proper company placements and official paid internships start in 7th semster. However it is highly dependant on your luck to get placed in earlier semesters. Highest package till now is 21 LPA but the actual average is around 4 LPA only. Profiles offered are software engineer and related only. Till now (after 7th semster of our seniors is over) around 50 students are placed. My plans are to do a job and simultaneously do MBA after co no completing a degree.
This is honestly the worst part. There are least amount of festivals in our college. There are some societies formed recently and some good events were conducted like YOUTH PARLIAMENT, Debate Competitions etc and some singing competitions as well. Apart from that coding competitions frequently take place and some quizzes as well. There are blackboards and smart boards in our college both in the same classroom. Sports events happen every year.
I belong to Arts faculty and my faculty is very helpful in studies. The relation between professors and students is also very good because whenever I ask any doubt from the professor, he clarifies it. In my opinion, my sociology faculty is very good and all the professors are very sweet. If we talk about the exam, then the paper comes from the syllabus which the professors have taught us, the result is also quite good, the marks are obtained as per what is written, there is no partiality.
The only specific aspect of choosing this curriculum is I wanna go in a teaching position . I'm doing masters in sociology and it's really help me to prepare well for my future job. In my college the teaching methods is quie good for me and in my perspective the frequency and difficulty levels of exam is not excessive.
Faculty ratio is 5-7 core faculty in IT/CS department expected ratio - 1:15--1:20 faculty members are supportive, knowledgeable and helpful and especially in explaining concepts Teacher for programming language is very good who will clarify all your doubts and clear all your basics Some Teachers have experienced of more than 18 years There re internal exam they are easy and then there are end sem which are conducted by Lucknow university which are moderate level paper. The curiculum is standard for bca(programming,DBMS,networking, etc) designed to build IT knowledge.

1. Relevance & Comprehensiveness (Rating: 7/10) The course curriculum at SOA is updated frequently compared to state government colleges. Why I chose this: I was attracted to the fact that the syllabus includes modern electives like Artificial Intelligence, Cloud Computing, and Data Analytics starting from the 3rd year itself, rather than waiting for the final semester. Real-world Prep: The curriculum is designed largely to crack placement interviews. There is a heavy focus on Aptitude and Core Coding subjects (DS/Algo) which helps in getting a job. However, for deep research or R&D roles, the theoretical depth is sometimes lacking. 2. Areas for Improvement Teaching Methods: A major issue is the reliance on PowerPoint Presentations (PPTs). Many faculty members just read off the slides. I would prefer more "Whiteboard Teaching" for mathematical and logic-based subjects. Lab Records: We spend hours handwriting practical records/files which are just copied from the manual. This is a waste of time. This time should be used for live coding projects or hackathons. Outdated Subjects: First-year students (even in CS/IT) are forced to learn heavy mechanical/civil concepts. While basics are good, the depth of these non-core subjects should be reduced. 3. Exam System & Difficulty Frequency: It is quite hectic. We have 2 semesters a year. Each semester has 2 Internal Assessments (Quizzes/Mid-sems) and 1 End-Semester Exam. Basically, you have an exam every 1.5 to 2 months. Difficulty: The exams are Easy to Moderate. It is not very difficult to pass. If you study the "Class Notes" and "Previous Year Questions" for 3-4 days before the exam, you can easily score an 8.0 SGPA. The checking is lenient for passing, but strict if you are aiming for a 9.5+ SGPA.
1. The Numbers (General Category) The total course fee is ?16 Lakhs (fixed). It does not increase year-on-year for your batch. Year 1: ?4,15,000 (Includes one-time charges). Years 2, 3, & 4: ?4,00,000 per year. 2. Where does the money go? Out of the ?4L yearly: Tuition: ?3,50,000 (?1.75L per sem). Development, Lab & Exam Fees: ?50,000/year. One-time charges (1st Year only): ?10,000 (Caution money, refundable) + ?5,000 (Admission/Counselling). 3. Other Categories (Batchmates) Management Quota: They pay significantly higher, around ?5.5L to ?6L per year depending on the branch demand. SC/ST: The college charges the same standard fee upfront, but they usually get ?50k-60k/year back via the State Govt. "Prerana" scholarship. 4. Scholarships (Don't miss these!) SAAT Merit: Based on your entrance rank. Top rankers get 100% tuition waiver, others get 25-50% off. Merit-Cum-Need: If your family income is < ?3 LPA and you have a CGPA > 7.5, you can apply for financial aid. Note: Hostel/Mess is separate (approx. ?90k/year).
The course is completely based on NMC new guidelines. Along with the theory classes where we know the structure and their working in dissection we actually see them on cadaver . Lectures should be more interesting as it's get boring to literally listen the concepts for first time like a story and at the end we forget everything
Total academic fee per year is 6572. And the hostel fees are very less approx 1000 per annum . The fee structure is same for all categories and no scholarship is provided by the college. But there are other scholarship which you can apply if you are west bengal resident i.e Swami vivekanand merit cum means means scholarship.
there are many proffesors in our college , i know name of few of them Dr. Priyanka Sahare(Physics Teacher ), Dr. Jaya Sharma(Computer Programing), Dr. Shweta N(Basic Bio Science ) , Mukul Chandrakar Sir (Mathematics I) , Dr, SK Patnayak (Enviroment And Ecology) they all are Highly educated and qualified teacher ,many of them are from IIT and NIT. The ratio of faculty to student is around 1:10 , teachers are good at teaching. i like most of the teachers of Our class example , I like Mukul sir most Due to his calmness , Teaching Style , His Way of TAlking , ANd He Give Us Sufficient MArks in End Semester . there is an teacher whom i dont like that IS Dr. Veddika Dhiman (Basic Bio Science LAB Teacher) , because she shout at us without any reason. she give us lots of work and didn't think about work. in our college there not exam every month but it only 2 exams every semester the first exam is Mid semster exam and the second one is End Semester . the Mid sem exam is of 30 marks for every subject , And End sem is of 50 marks and there are 20 marks for teachers assesment which is given on the basis of mid sem and assignment work. there are practical of 100 marks (30 for mid sem and 30 for end sem and 40 for TA ).
The Curriculum of NIT RAipur is very nice , It offer a good foundation in core subject like Micro biological , Bioprocess Engineering ,And Bioinformatics which were the main reasons to join this college and the course . this subjects provide us to master in Academic pursuits and Covers the sylabus of exams like IIT JAM , GATE Etc. and students can also opt. for Higher studies , if they want .there are many seniors who went for higher studies in foreign . there are areas that can be improve as i think like giving too muvh assignment to students , because of that student only focus on Writing areas noot on skill development . many times teacher gives us warning of cutting TA Marks if a student can't able to submitted on time . just beacuse of DS assignment , I got E grade in DS LAb , because of that my spi dropped to 7.7 there should be Not continous exams in the end semester as student didn't have time to study the subject , and the syllabus is too much . the exams are quite moderate , mid sem is easier than end sem , As i think.
Talking about the faculty-to-student ratio , its around 1:12 . The faculty are mostly good , if you're a bit punctual about assignments , class-assesments and attentive during lectures. The faculties are approachable . The best faculties according me are , Dr Sayantani Saha , Joy Samadder and Dr Somdatta chakroborty . I genuinely loved the way they used to teach us various topics , help us regarding various things and used to provide us a feedback on our exam answers. I won't say I disliked any faculty , because I believe if we behave well and be polite and respectful towards them , they help and support us a lot. There are 4 Class Assesments in each semester and one end semester exam . The questions are mostly prepared by the professors themselves who teach us the topic , hence with a bit of preparation we can clear them. Mostly all students clear , atleast in Btech IT . Students who fail mostly either don't study at all or get caught using unfair means during exams. The course is not that relevant according to the current industry requirements.
-> the year wise fees is around 47400 ( includes tution fee for even sem - 20000 , tution fee for odd sem - 25000 , exam fees for each sem - 1200 ) -> registration fees is 500 which is given during admission in the first sem itself . Admission fees is 5000 , no lab fees or library fees( only a fine of 3 rupee / day if late) , development fees of 2200 and caution money deposit of 8000. Most of these fees are one time . -> lateral entry students had to pay an extra of 5000 per semester for tution fees. Students who scored exceptionally well in the entrance exams and also if their household income is less than 400000 , they were given a tution fee waiver. -> State government scolarships like SVMCM were applicable in our university. -> the revised fees as of 2025 is as follows : Admission fee - 4000 , tution fee for odd sem - 27800 , tution fee for even sem - 25000 , library fee of 600 ( per sem ) and rest are same.
In my course it is 1:40. But single section. Faculty is friendly and very approachable. Rashmi Mishra Ma'am for Mathematics for Computing was one of the best for her teaching methods. Making every concept lucid and practical. Didn't like any of the faculties of GE, SEC & VAC much. Everyone approached the subjects lazily. Although given the low credits and impact on GPA. Seems valid. Single exam per semester. Total 6 sems in 3 years with optional 4th year for honors with research making 8 semesters. Exams are easy given one practices the concept and does all pyq's from 2-3 years. Questions repeat with 80% success rate. Failure rate is <5%.
Extracurriculars are the only thing that keep the college alive. Societies, sports (basketball, Cricket, football, etc), dance, acting, debates and pro-bono activities keep happening time to time. A slow down occurs during exam months otherwise campus life keeps bustling and stays vibrant. Some of the societies are: 180DC (consulting soc), FIC (finance & consulting soc), Tech-A-Thon (Tech soc), Rangayan (Dance soc), Nimbus (Debate)... Etc. There is projectors in all classrooms though used scarcely. Mostly used in computer labs. Books and journals are densely available with fully AC library.
For 80 students there are 3 physics teachers and 3 maths teacher and they are legit very good. All teachers are very friendly especially our physics teacher they helped us . Our maths teacher are very motivating they are really good . They are nice you can ask any question you want in campus hour any number of questions. Though our Physics HOD sir is bit strict but he is very nice in his own way and explain every physics problem in just a snap. I like my physics teacher honorable our physics Hod sir Mr. KN UTTAM SIR , MY mechanics teacher Mr. TT sir , my Geometry teacher Mr. ANIL KUMAR SIR ,and last but not the least my ordinary differenti equation teacher Mr. ALPESH KUMAR SIR. I also like defense studies teacher who is Rashmi Ma'am. Faculties i don't like is no one every teacher is good is in his own way and i respect them all. For semester exam there is external amd internal exam . Internal is taken by class teachers and external holds more weightage than internal. Intensity is like class test in which we have given some marks and external is the main exam. There are 3 subjects in which two subjects are major and one subject is minor . And two major subjects hold 6 papers, 3 papers each and minor holds 2 papers . Overall we have to give exam for eight to nine papers . 80%for external and 20% for Internal. Minor have objective questions and major have subjective questions. Course curriculum is good but it gets tougher. Students have to study for the exam . Passing criteria is not so good . 30% students failed every year and it is tough to clear the exam without studying so you have to study
Sadly they don't held any annual or technical functions . But in arts faculty they held time to time dance show and singing show and also debate competitions. In arts faculty there are range of books for all subjects and in science faculty there are books only about maths and physics which i like the mostt!!. We have access to any book we can get it my our library card but there is a con that bsc and llb students don't have right to take the books at there home or there hostel which is kind of sad thing. Classrooms are good and very big , we always study in the classroom in free time because it's sound proof. Sports are the thing which they genuinely put efforts and student can learn hockey or any sport my friends have also taken part . Sports freaks are everywhere and they look cool!!. Yeah there are many student run social groups clubs like suvirya for those who wants to join defense forces, umang for creativity and many more . Student portals oj telegram for notes , book pdfs , everything and news about university. Students are learning how to survive and face challenges and some students also make money by side hustle. I have watched many students earning money and helping there parents which is kind of motivating others. I know that our university ranking is not very good but trust me it's very beautiful in it's own way!.
the faculty members of the college are genrally qualified and knowledgeable in their respective fields. Many professors have good teaching experience and explain concepts clearly, especially core subjects. Some faculty members are supportive, approachable , and guide students in academic, projrects and examinations. however, few teachers rely heavily on traditional teaching methods and focus mainly on theory . The pattern of study is as per the university syllabus and is organized on a semester basis. practical exposure and skill based learning are limited and this might come as a hinderance for the students. The assessment pattern is based on the semester system, which entails internal assessments, along with university examinations conducted at the end of the semester. internal assessments might seem erratic , biased or inconsistent, yet they are a great method to retain students attention. The assessment scheme is well defined whereby the internal assessment involves 30-40%, while the end examinations accounts for 60-70%. But too much focus on written examination at the expense of practical knowledge is a conspicuous demerit.
In my first year i paid 42500 (actual fee was 45k), currently I am in my 2nd year 4th semester and i paid 40k this year. In the first year i got a concession of 2.5k in my fee. To get this concession i wrote a letter based on my needs and got it signed from the princial, later that letter was sent to our sdme head quaters for approval. i even heard that if you've scored above 95% in your 12th, you might also get 5k discount. I don't have any idea of how much will i supposed to pay in my third year.
There is Sanskriti fest by Science Federation Students Union. I think it'll be good. There are lots of books in the libraries and they're very accessible. You have projectors and computer laboratories. It's very good. You can play anything in the campus. There's lots of sports here - cricket, football, table tennis, carrom , everything. There's SFSU, AFSU and FETSU - the student unions for Science Faculty Students, Arts Faculty Students, and Engineering Students respectively. They impact students' exam dates and festivals and many more.
The faculty to student ratio matters on the class size. It's variable. The faculty is nice to students and approachable (except some of them). I like most of the faculties. SG, PKR, AB are the best profs. I didn't like AD and RB because of their strictness. There are seven exams, easy to score but difficult to answer. Half of the students fail to clear them. The course curriculum is relevant.
Our faculties are always on the firing line and put us as well. Often they will take the big call and put the whole scheme of things in front of us. The best thing is that they all are confident themselves and put a lot of confidence in us. They never treat students like a dead fish and gives equal importance to every single student.
BSc fees differenas per course but since ours is a quality course and it requires a fees too. Thus our fees is 2.75 lakhs for a year to study our course. We also have exam fees and some training fees as well. Most students are outsiders so they have to the hostel fees too but I have opted for a Paying Guest close to the university.
At My College Fee Structure is very simple . even though the expenses are graudally accumulating significantly . As an ordinary student ,i pay the amount of 7000 each semester which makes my total academic cost for a year 140000. The approximate total for the whole four-year program comes to around 592000 , provided there no major increases in our course .when looking at the detailed fee structure , my tution fees is 62k and 8k for other charges , including exam fee ,library fee etc. The fee structure based on category wise my friends belongs to st/sc, does not have to pay any tution fee , they are only charged about 8k every semester . there lots goverment and private scholarship available based on both merit and annual income , also state and central scholarships are available and special scholarships for girls also .
My college has many highly educated and talented faculties . Many of them are graduated from IITs And NITs . There Are Lots of faculties in our college , we can say that 1 Faculty per 10 to 20 students .Faculties are good at teaching . Dr. priyanka sahare (Physics ) ,Dr. MUkul Chandrakar (M1) , Dr. Anita Murmu (DS), Trishna Mam(BBS),DR. Shweta N(BBS),DR.Jaya Sharma(Cp), Are my favorite faculties cause they know how to teach from basic to advance level , makes us industry ready . Dr. Vedika Dhiman (BBS Lab) Were The Mam who i didn't like because She has lots of ego and Didn't think about student level of knowledge. There Are 2 exams ,Mid Sem Exams and End Sem exam per semester. The Mid SEm is of 30 marks and end sem is of 50 marks , Mid sem is easier as compared to end sem . 15 students got supple in our class.
The college provides a 100% placements to all the students. The selection is purely based on the caliper & performance of the student. The college is associated with reputed companies such as Homelane. Godrej,DeDecor etc with salary packages upto 9LPA.
The course fee is 130000/- per annum including site & field visits. The college provides merit based scholarships starting from 10% which goes on further, which is calculated on basis of best 5 subjects in 12th classThere is no special reservations.
Mid cap to large cap, every company that can afford our students services are invited to our university for hiring students. Thus far nearly 500 organizations have been invited to our university and a good bit of placements percentage is also there. No students of our university recruited have come under fire and therefore the companies which have laid faith in LPU students have kept hiring year after year.
One has to be careful as our college is more advanced than Jalandhar City. We have so many cafes and advanced salons and everything inside the campus. We have a sports stadium full of extraordinary facilities. We have many fest and One India and One World is definitely the best event one will ever witness and I can say with authority that it's better than any concert.
Faculty to student ratio is well maintained. Sometimes, we even get 2 teachers for the same subject. All the faculty members are considerate and approachable and always willing to help us to resolve our problems. The course structure is uniform across the university and Hansraj follows it accordingly. I am pursuing B.com Hons and the curriculum is most relevant to my course. About the exam system, exams occur twice a year (End sems) while internals occur throughout the semester as per the needs of students, providing us flexibility. So, instead of Mid-semester exams, we have internals scheduled by subject teachers after duly considering our request.
My overall experience with campus life has been somewhat mixed. Though , the college has its annual fest and many clubs and societies to provide professional exposure, the college administration has remained mostly strict and sometimes does not let students conduct events on their own. This is probably one of the aspect where my college lacks behind. The strictness of the administration just ruins the events and annual fest overall.
