Selection in MCA Program is based on two categories:- General or University seat Company or NRIs/NRI Sponsored/ Foreign Nationals or Management Quota Seat. A merit list is centrally drawn for the general category and the results are sent to the respective candidates along with a call. The selected candidates are required to deposit the initial admission fee with the Accounts department within the specified period, failing which the seat is offered to the next deserving candidate in the wait list. Admission is on the basis of the final merit list put up by the institute on the recommendation of the Selection board. The selection board assesses the candidates taking into account their performance in entrance test and interview, past academic career, maturity and intelligence, work experience (if any), and suitability for the particular program. College campus is good. Gender ratio as far as BBA section is considered, it's well balanced. Library is the best place where you can find all good people, helpful and assisting you at time to time and you can make the best use of library facilities. Marathi Literary Association, Hindi Association, English Association, Book Lovers Group, Quiz Club, Ness Wadia Investors Association: You name it . Everything is here. Your extracurricular activities are never really going to stop. B.Com section represents a huge majaroty of Marathi speaking people, coming from village background. So it's a really nice experience to mix with them and learn new things which you probably don't even know. But, sadly few of B.Com section people will make you think twice whether they are students of college. Lot of people who are not even students of college, keep on coming to college to stalk girls. This needs to be stopped. And College is not paying enough attention to address these issues. College host several prestigious inter college competitions. Annual fest is an another attraction (with lot of anti social elements attending it).
Don't expect much from Pune university syllabus. Best part about BBM is as International Business is specialisation, you get to learn a compulsory foreign language. Apart from that, it's just that you are getting lot of free time for yourself being in a commerce college, which you can utilise in order to prepare for your Master's studies entrance preparation or Join some competitive exam classes or founding your own start-up. Time is your luxury. Use it wisely. As far as it's about passing your university exam, doing even previous year question papers will surely help (sadly).

Some teaches are good. Some are really bad. There is no consideration of cultural activities you do. They are only concerned about your attendance. Not many teachers are concerned about what you learn. All they want is that you attend classes, get good marks and get placed. Nobody talks about research work or post graduation.
The boy-girl ratio is pretty low. There are very few girls being an engineering college. There are many cultural societies like dramatics society, fashion society, dance society, music society, fine arts society, literary society. I don't know about dorm parties being a day scholar
